Why would a small child complain about arthritis type symptoms?
One οf mу sister-іn-laws twins ѕау ѕhе hаѕ aches аnd pains thаt dο nοt sound lіkе growing pains. Shе іѕ аbουt three. Blood tests came back negative bυt I don’t know whаt thеу checked fοr exactly.
Dіd anyone notice I ѕаіd blood tests came back negative? Shе іѕ already going tο STL childrens, ѕο ѕhе іѕ nοt іn thе hands οf аn amateur forum. Read
Does the child see a pediatrician? If not, she should. What about an endocronologist?
My daughter always got and still gets growing pains. She is 12 and wears a size 11 womans shoe and is towering over me. As a small child she use to cry because her legs hurt. The doctor said it is growing pains and judging by the size of her dad (6 foot 5) she may be tall. To give her children’s tylenol when it was painful so she could sleep. They did blood test and found nothing but a perfectly healthy girl. She just was growing really fast.
Now I wouldnt discount Arthritis since a friend of mine growing up had it in his knees. As a 30 year old adult he can barley get around. If she has joint pain than I would check with a doctor that deals with Arthritis.
Child can get rheumatoid arthritis. It’s always good to get it checked out. Does she have redness and swelling in the joint? If so, then it could be RA. Has she gotten bitten by a tick? Lyme’s disease can cause joint problems.
If not, maybe it’s just like the others said, growing pains.
There are plenty of autoimmune conditions that can affect young children. Acquired conditions like Lyme disease mentioned above, as well as chronic diseases like juvenile rhemuatoid arthritis (JRA) are two examples. Here is the link to some info about JRA:

I do not mean to suggest that JRA is at fault here…it is merely one of many possibilities. In any case, I would have the child see a pediatric rheumatologist, who deal with myriad of similar symptoms. No harm in that really, and it would help, I think.
haslo’s answer is a good one
Please, don’t put her health in the hands of an amateur forum. Respect her mind and body. Consult as many doctors as necessary until they come to a diagnosis and treatment. (I am a physician myself and this is the best advice I can possibly give you.)
