When should you talk to your doctor about joint pain or arthritis?

You should talk with your doctor now. You are very young to be experiencing this degree of joint pain. Even if you were 20 years older I would give the same advise.
Some of your problem may be compensatory for your bad knee but I would think it is very prudent to look at the problem early. Even if your good side joint pain is compensatory you don’t want to end up having preventable osteoarthritis is your other knee. You may have an underlying major problem like Rheumatoid arthritis. Get it addressed ASAP.
There is no point in waiting. Have it evaluated.
I have back pain and can’t remember when I didn’t and I am only 25, and there is some nasty stuff out there called JOINT CARE I get it from my chiropractor and it has glucosamine, condroiten and MSM in it I think, it is some gross stuff, but after taking it for about a month it builds up the cartilage in you joints and helps a lot. You should try it, mix it in some grape juice if you have too. I still take it, but it’s hard to swallow.
