Depending on what joint is having the pain..I have seen many people rub ointments in the area of pain or some people take Naproxen which also helps the pain. Doctors have multiple medications to help but make sure you read the side effects
There are prescribed anti- inflammatory medicines to reduce the inflammation as well as pain medicines and even anti carcinogenic drugs in small doses are prescribed for some cases. As far as home remedies. Heat seams to be of most effect for temporary relief as it widens the blood vessels to the area.
Also depending on the type of arthritis there are different therapies.
Gout for example is better managed by medicines ( colchicine or allopurinol) to reduce uric acid… and gets worst when red meat is in the diet ( has high purines—-uric acid production)
Rhomatoid arthritis is autoimmune and has a series of medicines to take if first line did not work
some bad arthritis can be taken care of by even a joint replacement.

Cert-O. It is used for canning stuff I think. You mix a packet of it in JUICE, not coffee, not milk, JUICE! My grandpa, sister, and other people my grandpa know all use it. They say it works really well and they don’t ever need pain medicine anymore! Try it! It really works and is inexpensive. You can find it at Wal-Mart! Use JUICE! My grandpa knew a guy who put it in coffee, and it didn’t work! Good luck!
