What are the odds of an 11-year-old cat having arthritis?
He seems fine and shows no symptoms of arthritis that I’ve noticed. I’m just curious about it. Sometimes I wonder if I’m causing him pain when I play with him or even just by picking him up.
I’ve asked him about it several times but he doesn’t seem to want to tell me.
Thanks!
@Eva: The answer to all your questions is “no”.
Thanks for all the answers so far!

The odds are pretty good. But if he’s still inclined to play with you, than I think he’s feeling OK. Cats keep their health issues to themselves. So he may not answer you when you ask him how he’s feeling.
Yes, an 11 year old cat can have arthritis. If he is slower or crying when you pick him up, that is a good clue. If he is limping or favoring a joint, it could be arthritis.
that is his way of telling you.
Chances are if the cat is asymptomatic then the cat probably doesn’t have an issue…

If the cat goes out, do you often pull off ticks of the cat?
