I know this sounds really stupid but why isn’t there a cure for RA?
Is it because there hasn’t been enough research for it?
is it because there isn’t enought money to do the research?
Is it because everyone else is busy finding a cure for cancer or lupus?

I don’t understand. Please forgive me for my ignorance but I’d like to know why.

The causes of JRA are not known since the docotors just treats the patients sympotonously. Is there any research to know the causes of JRA going on and what is expected?

My friend has arthritis in one of her fingers, she’s very young, and I’d like to help her out by informing her on any relevant treatments that are effective, efficient, and safe.

I have a black lab who is 6 years old…she’s the sweetest dog in the world, but she loves food and would always get into stuff left on the counters or tables when she was little and got a bit overweight…she’s fine now, but she has some arthritis in her hind legs as evident by her getting up when laying down. She’s OK otherwise – we take her for 2-3 mile walks every day up at this glen and she’s fine. I just know it will catch up to her later on in her life.

I feel really bad about it and was just wondering if there was anything we could do…we give her this Cosequin stuff for dogs that is supposed to help for arthritis. But are there any other natural vitamins/minerals we could give her? Or anything else we should do?

I have read that they are hairless & even used therapeutically for arthritis patients. I love dogs & have owned mixed breeds, chihuahuas, and a golden retriever.

Its not incredibly bad yet… he’s still visibly happy and runs around… but he’s starting to get a slight limp occasionally when he runs… the vet said its build up on the bone and of course wants to do an expensive surgery.. Im just wondering if anybody knows any kind of food/nutrient that might help decrease the progression of this arthritis like build up from getting worse… or if you know any other kind of treatment that might help. Thanx

Do to avoid just living on pain pills? It hurts so bad that most exercises and stretching is out of the question. I can barely walk today.

Is this commonly accepted answer to an onset of pain and swelling really an old “wives tale”?
Does barometric pressure play a scientifically proven role? And if so, how?
