also trying to determine is parastasia nerve pain and numbness in calf/foot is related to my knee or injuries to the groin.inner thigh and knee both popping follwed by pain around time of initial injury please answer question one and two (mostly one) after rwading the history and what is going on.bless you.

________________________________________

HISTORY

My knee sometimes pops when I tun in bed followed by strong pain.

Today and last week I looked and there was a dent in my knee towards the bottom. then I walk and look and it is not there anymore.

The pain is getting so bad, I can scarcely walk. I was thinking I must have bad arthritis ..both knees hurt the other day but now just left which was worst when both were recently hurting

Not sure if this is connected, but my left leg from calf down only and foot (same side as dented knee) is numb and has parasthesia (weird nerve sensations feel like my foot is in an ever tightening vice and being squeezed) Doctors say this is from some herniated disks in my back, but might it be stemming from my knee (?) as I did not have it when my sciatica hit and before my knee first popped back when I was bedridden for 3 weeks one year ago (foot/leg numb for a year) Knee popped several times and numbness in leg etc did not come till 4 weeks after the sciatica first hit. Knee had started popping about week 2 maybe after initial back injury.

I had a groin/leg injury pops when it went numb a year ago 4 weeks after the injury that kept me bedridden for 3 weeks. My knee also started popping around that time when I moved my leg to the side in bed dozens of times. Each time is followed by a lot of pain.

Spinal doctors (2) said it is from my back which has 4 herniated disk, spondilosis several spurs and narrowed disks which I assume is temming form multiple injuries from my 25 car wrecks (their fault not mine).

I had severe sciatica and was completely bedridden for 3 weeks and sometimes when I turned on left side nerve pain more intense than anything I ever had with previous herniations was so bad I would scream and cry like a baby and need to move from that position within seconds as I thought I was gonna die. I am not sure if a nerve was damaged at the times it did that (is no longer doing it and little bad pain but lower leg/foot problems remain) but the location of the pain on my lower leg/foot and numbness/parasthesia is consistent with an l4-5 spinal injury. (steroid shot in spne did not help at all).

but I feel it might be due to the groin/inner thigh popping injury when it immediately went numb (was not numb before) or my knee may be the cause instead of my back but doctors just say it is from my back.

Any suggestions. Doctors are little help and it has taken over 8 months of waiting list to see them (saw two)..was told it will become permanent if not fixed in 1-1 1/2 years. I sometimes consider suicide as it is so bad and if it does not improve not sure what to do. I can hardly live with the pain and scared to take drugs for pain due to what happened to my mom.
_____________________________________
my questions..
_____________________________________

1 What could be wrong with my knee why is it dented and in so much pain. It felt twisted the other day when I tried walking. Is this dent and pops a problem with kneecap or ligaments/tendons. kneecap seems to easily change positions and then bad pain follows ..is this arthritis/injury/both?

2 is there any cure for parasthesia caused maybe by a pinched nerve. I am in constant pain with these injuries. could this be from back or groin injury or knees…insurance will not pay for MRI of knee or groin thus far. Nor chiropractic even though 3 doctors said I needed it.

If it is a nerve still pinched in my back this long is there anything I can do to unpinch it

question one is most important to me if only answering one
