please help if you can. i have uncontrolled diabetes, Juvenal rheumatoid arthritis& hep c. i take interferon for the hep c. i started this 4 weeks ago. i do not have any bad side effects from this. the problem is an intense pain on both sides of my back, outer sides, right below the rib cage. the left is worse and hurts like a 9 and when i bend over it goes up to a 10.i took 200mg of ultram and it helped take the edge off. does anyone have any ideas????
also i feel nausus, semi dark pee.
i was thinking kidneys too. it is 12:50 am here. what do you think about waiting until tomorow?
i am getting full blood work tomorow for a check up anyway.

I have cramps in my upper abdomen almost all the time especially if i’m stressed. My back has recently just started hurting especially the right side with sharp shooting pains even sometimes extended to the arm very rarely though. I have huge headaches and suddenly get so tired i almost pass out. The arthritis in my hand has been worse as well. I wore a different bra today and my breast were feelin swollen but im thinkin its more the bra than a sign. Also last couple of days ive gotten sick from eggs and caffeine, i only drink the caffeine in the morning so its been no big deal til now. So what do you think does it sound like pregnancy or something else?
Also I did have my period but the symptoms showed up shortly so maybe i had my period while pregnant? i heard some women have their regular periods while pregnant

I pop my back a lot and i know that herniated disk can happen when you put pressure on a disk from a upper and lower spine thing, squeezing the disk, and i will do that to pop the lower part of my back. Popping my self is a bad habit. Well i have a sharp pain in the lower part of back and i just got it like 1 hour ago. Please tell me what this crap is. Im on the laptop and laying down and it doesn’t hurt as bad. Im not getting that many signs of a herniated disk, But could it even be arthritis? Please help me!

my mother is in the hospital. her doctor can’t figure out what is wrong. i think it was a stroke as she had 2 before. she had tremor’s, confusion, slurred speech, sleepiness, droping things, problems remembering. just above her right foot is swollen, red, hot. her left leg is a bit swollen but not as much as right and no discoloration. she had moments of lucid but not for more then a few minutes. while being transported to a bigger hospital her respiration and blood pressure dropped very low. she suddenly had a fever. they tried ativan to stop the tremors it didn’t work. her apperance was pale, clammy. i did ask her to smile befor the ambulance came she couldn’t when asked to squeeze my hands it was a very weak squeeze. well it’s been 3 days in hospital and the tremors have stopped. however she is still slurring her words and confused moments. the doctor said it can’t be a stroke because scans show no new damage. all blood tests also appear normal.
she is 55 years old
has type 1 diabetes, rhumatiod arthritis, liver damage (from meds), osteo, history of blood clot, history of stroke, history of chf.
this all started slowly since december 26 it began with blurry eyes when reading or close, sleeping alot, hard time walking, dropping things, no remembering, nausea, some vomitting, cough, a bit confused (more like scared confused) then after falling asleep on january 2nd she laid down went i went to check on her i had to shake her several times to awake her. when she woke she was slurring her speech, not making sense, trembiling all over, she couldn’t remember who people where, there was a bit of clear moments but that didn’t last 5 minutes. she seemed very aggitated. she was pale and clammy no fever. any idea what is causing this. is it possible to have a stroke and it not be seen on scans or missed in blood work.
doctor said monday that she has pneumonia put her on iv antibotics, said the redness and swelling in leg is cellulitis and antibotics for that also. she is however still having confusion moments of lucid then non lucid and slurring. she has all a sudden began saying her feet hurt which seems odd to me since she has neuropathy from her toes to knee’s on both legs, when i checked it i noticed a small area twitching with a white line going upwards on legs. nurse said its no big deal and i’m basically supposed to accept that its just that and that we may never know why she is still has what seems to be neurologic issues. even pointed to possible faking giving that she ok then suddenly not. i don’t think so i see the fear in her eyes and i take care of her 24/7 as i live with her trust me i know this is not a game. i was thinkin maybe it was an interaction with meds. like possible serotonin syndrome since is on metoclopramide and lexapro. she on many meds and i’m willing to give you the nam

I am posting this question for my mom. I know that the best thing to do is seek a physician’s opinion, but my mom will not go. She puts it off and is stubborn.

Earlier today, my mom took a dizzy spell and fell on to the coffee table in our living room. She said she didn’t black out, but I am unsure. She said she had been dizzy most of the day. As of late, she has been complaining of her arms (shoulders specifically, and all down her arms) hurting. She did go see a dr a few weeks ago who put her on an arthritis medicine. Could that med have caused a dizzy spell? Also, she says she feels like she is constantly hungry. I have considered diabetes (I work for a doc. and was taking medical classes and some smptoms are similar to diabetes, but I don’t know).

Does anyone know what this could be?

for 6 months now ive been inside
forgetting about health, forgetting about reality, no schooling, no working, no more hanging out with friends, no more socializing, no more having fun with life in general. just staying inside everyday on the computer.
i have a breaking body..i dont care about my looks anymore..have graying hair, overweight, extremely weak bones..probably having some sort of arthritis, my teeth are really weak and gross, acne all over my face..
when i go out everyone gives me stares because of how unhealthy i look. so i stay inside..no more confidence in life, extremely quiet almost like a ghost that no one notices me around, slow in the mind, low attention span, when i speak its not clear and it sounds like im always depressed, i cry for no reason, im really selfish now cause i spend time alone, when im inside im comfortable because i dont have to show the world what ive become, people have talked to me but i just ignore the problems im having and getting worse. i used to want to be who i used to be..but now i dont care
i have things to pay for..but i dont care..i ignore all my calls. my health is so bad but i just ignore. i always feel empty inside so i eat, but it never fills that empty feeling….
i have things to pay for..but i dont care..i ignore all my calls. my health is so bad but i just ignore. i always feel empty inside so i eat, but it never fills that empty feeling….i get mad easily even for the littlest things now..i hate being put on spot because i dont think.
i can be happy for a couple hours and depressed the next..people think im weird so i just stay away from everyone now.
maybe its cause of my childhood? my mother had schizophrenia and my father was in and out of my life constantly.
i know i need help i just dont care. im getting slower and slower in the mind i can feel it..its like living life backwards now..becoming a child again and not caring about myself. thanks for the comments though.

My father is 60 years old and he recently started to experience arthritis pain in his knee. He does not have a family practice Dr but went to a walk in clinic and they gave him a steroid injection in his knee and said that he had a lot of arthritis in his knee. The pain then started to go up into his shoulders and back to the point that he was bed ridden. He finally then went to another walk in clinic who had blood tests done they said that he had an infection and gave him a steroid pack they never really did say what the infection was. He had about three good days where he was starting to get rid of some of the pain and was then put on a lower dose of the steroid. Within a few days the severe paid is now back all over. Does anybody know is this typical of arthritis or is this something else more serious and if so what could that be good or bad. Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks

I am 14 years old and ask this on behalf of my own health. I have had arthritis-like symtoms since two years ago. These include:

joint pain (mild to severe)
joint stiffness (affected by cold/sitting on hard surfaces)
low platelet count (from two years ago, unknown if still have this)
high biliruben (same as above)
joint inflammation (heat radiates from hip/knees)
not able to stand/sit for longer than 30 minutes, will cause stiffness/pain
have osteoporosis (unknown to why i have this)
gluten intolerance (class II allergy-not celiac disease)

I have visited a rheumatologist and been released- I do not have arthitis or fibromailga. Two years ago, I was tested for leukimia through a special type of xray where they injected me with radiation I belive and it was negative. I have visited a digestive doctor and found out I had a gluten allergy that was the cause of SOME of the pain, but the doctors took my blood and said it was not significant enough allergy to cause these problems. I was released, and do not have celiac disease. I visit a genetisict for the osteoporosis and he is stumped to what is causing these problems. I took a blood test and found out that I had a high IGE level- whatever that means.

I will be visiting another orthopedic, and a neurologist. After those two doctors, I will have explored
all the fields available. Is it possible I could have cancer, as two years have passed since the last test?

I was diagnosed with lupus seven years ago, and so far I have only had arthritis and fatigue. I know that it can also affect the organs but how will I know this? Do I have to have a blood test or will I start to get sick, or what? And does it always end up like that, or can you have a normal life and have lupus. And what is a normal life expectancy?
I am not on any medications for it, and there is no family history of Lupus.
Also, can anyone describe the rash that can occur? Is the skin just red and inflamed or is the skin itchy or does it have dry flaky skin? I have a rash near my arm pit and I am curious if it is related to my lupus…
