I was diagnosed with it in my back,hips and hands and the pain is severe. I am going to my doctor to discuss the pain getting worse and to see what can help quell the flair ups ,help inflammation and what meds are most effective for the severe pain since darvocet does not help the severe pain in my sacram and hips. Has anybody been treated for this and recommend treatment options to ask my doctor about ,especially cheaper medications .

The diagnosis is psoriatic arthritis. Knees, back, neck, wrists while typing, ugh.

I’m on a few joint medications at the moment (methotrexate, also sampling humira for the next month or two before I can’t afford it).

I have 1 1/2 years of sobriety at AA, drank too much in college, never really smoked weed. If I use marijuna for pain relief will it break my sobriety?

Medicinal marijuana is a last resort for me but I honestly can’t remember the last day where I was pain free. Will I still be sober according to AA if I use marijuana for pain?

As the day progressed, it moved to my right knee and then my left elbow. It was much worse after sitting still and then moving. Today it is a little better and it is not as painful but still stiff.

but no tablet the give me from mtx to lef work. whats worked for you?
also if you had bad psoriasis have you calmed it down? and how?

I have it on my elbow and one foot and just in the last week I now have it on my eyelid. For a long time i thought i had athletes foot and nail fungus then come to find out that my dad has the same problem. a few months ago maybe a bit longer my ankle on the same foot with the psoriasis has started hurting I have to limp to walk. Has anyone else had this problem?

Usually when i do nothing (like sitting, laying down on bed) its like my left ankle hurts, its like locked and just.. hurts badly, it takes like 15 minutes to be gone. Now i was wondering if its possible for an 18 yrs. old to have an arthritis? Thank you, answers are much appreciated :)
