i have fibrositis as well as arthritis and would like to stay away from pills as mush as possible so i was wondering about natural remedies I saw the infomercial about cures from your kitchen so thought i would ask

Does anybody know any natural cures for Rheumatoid Arthritis? I am currently on a med for cancer patients and want OFF. Help if you can, Thank you. It is so painful….

For a young (34), athletic man who is also diabetic.

i have Spinal Stenosis AND Spinal Arthritis. I take pain med. & Muscle relaxers as needed, but do not want prescription drugs. If i stand too long, it’s hard to sit; if i sit too long, it’s hard to stand ; if i lay down, it takes a while to manuveor to get up. Drs. want to cortisone my back/operate. 50/50 chance of walking. i’m in my 50’s, so that is not a consideration. i can’t seem to hook up w a natural alternative here………….any worthwhile suggestions?!??!

My lovely pomeranian is on Purina right now. But I’m thinking of making homemade food, and I know I should switch slowly.

Here are a few things I’m planning to use, and tell me what you think (and any references are helpful as well!)

Oatmeal/brown rice for carbs (scarcely!)
Peas/Carrots (he loves hard carrots)
Eggs, maybe some almonds, cheddar cheese (again, sparingly)
Some kind of fruit?
And the main ingredients:
Chicken, hamburger, steak (all with no added spices or anything)

Any food “poisonous” to the dog? Any more food I can add?

Also, I will add that poms are vulnerable to early blindness, collasped trachea, and arthritis. Anything to help with those?

I was at my local natural foods market looking for natural topical pain releiving gel. I found this one called Sore No More. Its works pretty good… have you tried it? Do you like it? Do you have any recommendations for other pain solutions?
