I am looking for a natural treatment for arthritis for one of my pets.Has anyone used this product and does it work.I will have to import it from another country, so i don’t know much about it.Any help would be great fully received.Thank you.

Other than the obvious pain, stiffness, inflammation, ect, what will happen to me if I do not take medication for my Rheumatoid Arthritis? Short term and long term?

About a month ago my cat started limping. We watched it for a while to see if it would get better but instead it seemed to get worse. She was not using her left front leg at all. We took her to the vet and they did x-rays. There was no obvious sign of problem on the x-ray so the vet thinks that she may have arthritis. She’s only 6 years old and we’ve never noticed her limping for any length of time before. The vet also said that she has some mild swelling around her shoulder joint and that she’s lost a lot of muscle mass on that side due to not using that leg. I know that some medications they put cats and dogs on for arthritis (medecam?) can be very harmful and even caused my friends dog to die of renal failure. I don’t know what we should do to help her?
The vet is having a panel of veterinary experts look at the x-rays. He can’t see anything obvious on the x-rays but he did say that there might be some loss of bone mass on one side of the wrist and the shoulder but he doesn’t know what that could mean. The risks of metecam for small cats is very high and the chance that it is arthitis is very low.

12 year old german shepherd on prednisolone for over 4 months for arthritis started off 4 tablets a day then went to 4 tablets every other day now on 2 tablets once a day dont seem to be helping much but have heard things like long term use has bad side effects, does any one know if this is true or not and if there is any cream you can buy for arthritis in dogs please dont say put her down cos shes brill apart from arthritis and i know people id sooner put down than my dog.

i think it is called enbrel with an “n” sorry.
by RA i mean rheumatoid arthritis, not just sore joints, it is a crippling disease.

I have a 10 year old German Shepard mix/Female/52 pounds/Medium size dog.

I took her to the vet about 2 days ago & the vet says she has arthritis :(
She gave me Tramadol-20 Tabs or 20 days. And also a sample pack(4) of Rimdayl.

I’ve heard that alot of the prescription medications for arthritis can cause liver damage.

A couple of brands I’ve heard are good choices are : GMC and I believe the other has a ingredient called glucosamine.

I’m doing my own research, like reading up on reviews for the best over counter medications that won’t cause severe damage or even hopefully any damage.

So if any knows or has tried medications that are promising please let me know and thanks alot.

I’m sorry :(
I’m just trying to choose what’s best for my dog.
I’m new to medications for pets :(

I am a bodybuilder with pretty sever shoulder arthritis and now, appears to have bicep tendinitis in both arms. Was wondering if Nubain would help me since I have tried every topical sports cream, the latest being OxyFlex, to relieve my symptoms with NO results. The pain is everyday in my bis (where lower bicep meets the forearm) and had it for last two or so months. Dr. said just rest it but it doesn’t seem to help and I am dying to train like I used to.

Any suggestions where to purcahse it w/out a prescription online?

Thanks.

Is there certain medication that should not be taken with Sarcoidosis. I have recently lost someone to this diease who was being treated for Rheumatoid Arthritis. She was receciving a weekly injection ( not quite sure of the full name but its nickname is Gold Injection) and i’m just wondering if this would have effected her in anyway as she was told she could not have it one week because of having just a cold?
Also do doctors find it really hard to diagnois between the 2 illnesses or should it have been picked up over the past year and a half? She had all the symptons and now we have researched it, it seems obvious to us, should the doctor not spent time looking over his notes a bit more to realise the treatment for artheritis wasn’t work??

We have an appointment for our kitty next month, but would like to ask here until I get in to see the vet..
Our kitty is old and has trouble walking (he limps) and I was wondering if they have arthritis meds for cats?
We used to have a dog that took meds everyday and it gave him an extra 4 years of relief.. has anyone been prescribed meds for kitties?
