there are some times within a day that a sudden pain in my fingertips/toes come.

they come in either one finger/toe or clusters.

this is kinda disturbing me for some time now.

i need to know what could this be a symptom of.

i’ve no arthritis or anything and i don’t usually engage in sports so this probably ain’t an injury.
diabetic people’s blood doesn’t clot very well, does it?

back in 2003 i fractured my left ankle from falling down a hill. the doctors diagnosed it as a “mild sprain” and 2 years later learned from the foot doctor that it was broken the whole time and never got properly treated. now i have a dead ATL that wont heal ever again. now 6 years later, after many visits to the pediatrist and failed therapy treatments, the pain is still very very strong and i have trouble walking at times. ALSO, my right thumb (first metacarpal bone) has a dead ligament and also has as much pain as my ankle.

ive tried tylenol for arthritis, ibuprofin, vicodin, etc. they have no effects on relieving the pain what so ever. does anyone think medical marijuana is a possibility? i live in michigan, so that is why i ask the question, and have heard some good results. someone help me! please and thanks!

My mother was diagnosed recently with Lupus, with the physicians telling her she probably has had it since her mid 30’s. I am 35, have the same medical history as her to this point, even down to the fact that I have had a major onslought of migraines since I was 33. I have issues with anxiety and depression, migrains, senseitvity to light and to touch, general fatigue, malaise, get bronchitis yearly, fever blisters, ulcers in my mouth, arthritis in 3 major joints on my right side, chronic diarrhea and the malar rash… Honestly I have more symptoms, but I am tired of typing. :) I have had several tests:
ANA Screen – Negetive
RA Quantitative – <20
Sedimentation Rate – 29
C-Reactive Protein – <.05

Basically because of the tests, the doctors dismissed Lupus, should I pursue this and push the dotors, the headaches have been daily for going on 3 years now, the pain I am in on a daily basis is unbearable, and the doctors think this is about pain meds, can anyone help me with this?
far from ticking me off, I understand the qustion and totally understand it. I have done accupunture, Bio feed back and chriopractic among others.
And remember, my basic question here is do I push the doctors into pursueing this, they basically have said the one test says you don’t have it. But my mom had almost identical test results.
What is a differential diagnosis.

On July 30th I was injured in an automobile accident. It was the other drivers fault and my kneecap was broken. Their insurance company said they will cover my medical bills and lost wages. I was off work for a month and on crouches with a kneebrace. I am back at work and still have to wear the kneebrace. The doctor says the long term effects would be that I will develop arthritis in my knee later in life. I don’t want to get a lawyer because I don’t trust them and don’t want them taking the majority of my settlement. I was just wondering how much I should settle for besides my medical bills and lost wages. I’m refering to pain and sufferring and overall inconvenience. Can anyone help me? I don’t plan on settling until the doctor clears me of any more treatment. Another question is since I have quit taking the pain meds I have noticed a pain in my elbow that was not there before the accident. Is it to late to have this covered as well?

I am about 168-175 lbs. I need to lose 50 or more because my doctor said it would be best, see I was diagnosed with juvenile rheumatoid arthritis and I was diagnosed with it in my feet, knees, hips, arms, and hands, fingers, ext. and my doctor told me it would be a very helpful thing to lose weight to relive some of the pressure of of my joints, the problem is I am only 15 and My family don’t have enough money to go buy special foods for me, I cant eat healthy and I just need some tips on exercises i can do and or any kind of diets i can do with normal home foods, not healthy foods from organic stores. please i really need some help and I would love some good answers thank you!!!

Does anyone know if medical assistance (state assistance) will pay for gastric bypass surgery. I have been overwieght all my life and have tried MANY diets, stuck to them religiously, and still can’t loose weight. I do not have diabetes, or a thyroid problem or high blood pressure. I’m quite healthy, except being over 150 pounds over wieght. (also, my BMI is 43) I have arthritis in my ankle, and a bad knee. I was also told from many surgeons that if I loose all this weight all my problems will go away (cannot have surgery on knee becuase it would be a 5% chance of success, also cannot deliver vaginally if i have another child, and have endometriosis becuase of this weight gain) So i was wondering, I know I can get letters of refferals to have this surgery done (at least 6 letters) will medical assistance pay for it?
(I know there are some real douche bags out there that will be harse when answering this question, so please don’t bother to answer if you will be an a**.. It hurts and this is a very serious question.)

I am posting this question for my mom. I know that the best thing to do is seek a physician’s opinion, but my mom will not go. She puts it off and is stubborn.

Earlier today, my mom took a dizzy spell and fell on to the coffee table in our living room. She said she didn’t black out, but I am unsure. She said she had been dizzy most of the day. As of late, she has been complaining of her arms (shoulders specifically, and all down her arms) hurting. She did go see a dr a few weeks ago who put her on an arthritis medicine. Could that med have caused a dizzy spell? Also, she says she feels like she is constantly hungry. I have considered diabetes (I work for a doc. and was taking medical classes and some smptoms are similar to diabetes, but I don’t know).

Does anyone know what this could be?
