He would get into a about-to-sit-down position and stop. Then he would go down alittle more and stop, and more, and so on until he finally sits down. He still runs pretty fast for an old cat. And he plays around with my younger cat too. Although, when he stands up he looks box shaped. I just think that’s because of age.

Thought to ask… I have been diagnosed with rather painful gastritis in two places in my stomach. It’s painful with or without doctor meds… Also, I got the gastritis because I was taking Prednisone, 5 mg for uveitis over a period of three years or so, not because of my diet… My diet is and has always been, spotless- I am vegetarian, I don’t eat pepper/s, spices, tomatoes, citrus as all of these things cause my uveitis/arthritis to flare. The doctor’s meds don’t work very well although I crazily keep trying them…

At any rate, other posts have mentioned “coconut water”, my arthritis (and in my eyes as well) flares with coconut water (don’t ask why, it just does)… Does anyone know of anything natural I could add to my diet that would help with the gastritis?… I’m afraid I’m going to have this forever and I can’t eat my food the way I used to (and my stomach hurts all day!)… Also, it seems that everything that would flare Candida also affects the gastritis (don’t know why), but they say I probably have Candida as I have the aforementioned arthritis issues. Also, although well meaning and common these days, please don’t post any “specialty health” diets as I have a tendency to go overboard with them, creating a whole new host of health problems entirely…

I am the caregiver for my 96 yr. old mom. She has arthritis affecting her sciatic nerve which we are treating with an herbal remedy. (I gave up on doctors!) She has what appears to be restless leg syndrome at night. It could quite possibly be from pressure on the sciatic nerve showing in her thigh and leg muscles.

At her age, I try to be very prudent about medications. She doesn’t need anything that will increase the likelyhood of her falling when she gets out of bed! I fought like the devil to get her off the morphine and percocet the pain management docs put her on for her back. I succeeded only when she found relief with the herbal meds.

This bar of soap trick….could it help her with the leg pains at night? I’d like specifics on what to do and where to position it. I’ll try anything if it will help her sleep at night! Just no more meds!!!

I was called dumb when I bought her herbs for her back pain too…….now there are several more people using them successfully! I don’t care how it makes me sound, if it helps her, it’s worth a try….even if the end result in just better smelling feet!
