i have osteoarthritis of the knee and it hurts most of the time

My right knee has arthritis. The pain comes and goes. I love jogging and tennis but it just kills me. I hate to give those up but will if it gets too bad.
But is there any good knee braces on the market that might alleviate the pain and prevent more damage?

One of my family members has really bad rheumatoid arthritis (to the point where she can not get out of the bed some days) and I want to know what I can buy that would be of the most use to her.

Thank you SO MUCH for your help !

I am 27 and play basketball. Recently injured my knee while playing. Orthopedist says I have a knee osteoarthritis.

Thanks in advance.
Thank you all for answering. They took the X-ray first then the MRI. Thanks again all!

I know I’m only 17 years old and arthritis is very uncommon for someone my age but I’ve noticed that my knee has been getting really stiff recently and it’s been raining a lot. It’s also been hurting but I haven’t done anything to really make it hurt. Am I making this up or could it really be arthritis?

My mother is aged by 65years, can anyone tell me the best way to lose her weight, she is suffering with osteoarthritis knee pains. She walks little but could not do exercise.

Sincere thanks,

I can’t determine which of what I’m doing makes the pain go away for days after it attacks for few days. I do therapy but it recurred. I put warm bag/warm compress on my lower back now and I use some natural therapy cream made of ginger, virgin coconut oil and peppermint which seems to have stopped the pain so far. I don’t know if it’s just the nature of arthritis that it stops then recurs at any given time and I don’t know anymore whether what i’m doing now is the one that makes the pain stop.
