Sometimes shootin pain will go down my shin or up my thigh. I thought maybe it could be arthritis so I bought some arthritis creme (should have seen the look I got since I’m only 23), anyways, it has helped a tiny bit but not much. I tried taking tylenol but nothing really gives me relief. The first day I thought it was normal but then began waking up with it. I thought also it could be from my hour and a half commute in the car to/from work and then sitting while at work since I’m a secretary.

Any ideas?
I went for a bike ride last night and it seemed to help a little bit. This morning its now my hip and knee on my left leg. If it continues through out the end of the week I will make an appointment to be seen.

Aspercreme isn’t working, it’s just a constant ache/pain.

They appeared as circular rashes that were open inside and all interconnected like a behive. She also had striped rashes that were raised and red as if someone had scratched her. She has been having extreme severe joint pain. To the point at times she cannot move. The doctors said it is Erythema multiforme or a virus. This has been going on for over a week. Is there some other diagnosis for this. Could this be possible juvenile rheumatoid arthritis? She worsens at night and has also been having a low grade fever. The rash also comes and goes.

Thanks. The two things just seemed incompatible to me but he is 12 years old now and he has been slowing down gradually for a few months except when it came to chasing a tennis ball and has gotten worse since he was playing a 90 minute session of fetch with my nephew while i was out….
I’m putting him on seraquin as soon as i can get it.

Its not a constant pain, it comes and goes and there is no swelling and redness.
I have been tested for juvenile rheumatoid arthritis but the tests came back negative and docs have pretty much given up but i need to know whats wrong with me for peace of mind.
My dad has the same thing and we are both healthy etc any ideas would really be great :)

I believe they tested for some sort of arthritis, but it only had an accuracy rate of 50%

I am 18 years old, female, and i have been experiencing pain in my hip joints for almost 2 years now. It’s very on and off, and it is bad enough to the point where i limp when i walk. It affects both of my hip joints and i have noticed pain in my knees and other areas as well. The pain usually lasts for a day, sometimes a little longer. Recently i have noticed an odd aching pain in my jaw that i don’t know is related or not. (it could be from sleeping on it wrong)

Sometimes it seems as though my hips hurt more often when it’s humid out, but it may be coincidental as i have heard other people say their joints ache when it’s humid.

Anyway, i was just wondering if anyone had any idea of what it could be so that i could do some research and match some of my symptoms. I have already looked at osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis so it would be helpful if you had any other ideas.

I don’t notice any swelling or tenderness to the touch, if that narrows it down at all & whenever i stay in one position too long, like if i bend down as to tie my shoes, for anything longer than a minute my back is really really stiff and it hurts to straighten it out unless i do it as slowly as possible..

Any ideas would be helpful :)

So I need a second hip replacement soon. I’m in a lot of pain and all I’m taking is low dose Prednisone, Motrin and Tylenol.
