shes 11 years old and has arthritis in her back leg. will she be ok? my dad said make sure she drinks a lot but i still feel anxious
I have a 9.5 year old 20 pound mixed breed dog that the vet believes to have arthritis (the vet is not 100% sure but thinks that the x-rays looks like she has arthritis). My dog is clearly in pain and and is acting very different from how she used to. She’s on Rimadyl twice a day but I also want to start her on Glucosamine and Chondroiting supplements. I bought some from the pharmacy and I have made sure that it’s okay to give it to a dog but I don’t know what dose to give her and how often. I was hoping someone could give me an idea of how much to give a 20 pound dog and how many times a day I should give it.
Thanks for the help
Is it ok to treat an older dog with arthritis with human formula gludosamine/chondroitin. If so, what dosage is recommended for a 12 year old 60 lb dog in otherwise good health?
My 8 year old boxer mix has been showing some signs of arthritis-how much glucosamine supplement should I give him to help his joints operate better?
Did they work for you?
I have just recently been having trouble with joint pain, and I am undergoing tests to determine if I have RA.
My doctor doesn’t trust supplements, but I would like the opinion of others.
I’m 33 and have osteoarthritis in my neck, back, and hip. I was taking Naproxin but got an ulcer from it. Does glucosamine work?
Does glucosamine work on osteoarthritis in both knees?
my mom who is 55 and is having pain in both knees. I feel awful for her and obviously I want to help her to feel better.
Please advise or answer to my question.
Thank you.
Where would I find these supplements for my dog. She is a 6 yr old Pit Bull that weighs 57 lbs. How much should I give her? Do these work good for arthritis?
