My little Lasa has arthritis. Can I crush up aspirin in her food? Will it hurt her or help her with the pain? Please be honest. I don’t want to do anything to make it worse for her.
My dog has arthritis and is in pain. I am taking 7.5 meloxicam occasionally when needed and read where iti is used for dogs as well. I am on disability and cannot afford to take him to the vet but i can’t stand seeing him in pain. Can I give him 1/2 of my pill or any amount of it safely to relieve his pain? He is a Chines Pug ,12 years old, and weighs about 22 or 23 pounds. He is panting and barks occasionally from the pain. This flared up about a year ago and he was given Rimadryl by a vet. I cant afford to spend $50 on an office viisit and then more for meds.
So my dog is a golden retriever and he is only 12 but he has aged quickly he has arthritis and he has been peeing and pooing inside so my mum and dad decided to put him down so my question is:How long does it take for him to Pass away you have till the 15.12.10 12:00am
ive heard if u crack ur knuckles u can get arthritis i crack mine all the time cus it feels like Relief and it just feels so good lol anybody know if it can give u arthritis and any way i can stop cus its so addicting
It breaks my heart to see my 12 year old girl in pain due to her arthritis. One regular vet recommended Cosequin DS and another vet prescribed pain medication. Is it safe to use both the pain medication to temporarily reliefs the pain while the Cosequin kicks in which I understand takes some time to see improvements? I found some dog aspirin in petco. Ugh but Idk which is best or if it ok to give her both at once to treat her symptoms.
I have just been diagnosed with osteoarthritis. So, I am new to this. I was just wondering if someone could please tell me the reason to why you get this disease and if it is anything that a doctor could give you to cure it? Will medication help this disease or will it just be a waste of time trying to take medication for it? I have been in so much pain for the last few weeks behind this illness and I am currently going to the therapist to do some exercises on the foot that is messed up. I was just wondering if I could get some kind of advice on this sickness and if there is somethinf I can do or get to help my siguation?
My 8 year old boxer mix has been showing some signs of arthritis-how much glucosamine supplement should I give him to help his joints operate better?
My MD means well, but every time my RA flares up they wish to prescribe some antinflammatories.. or better yet.. oral chemo to treat this progressing disease.
I have noted early deformity in my left hand #2 digit… I currently take a slew of mutlivitamins but also omega3 fish oils, and oil of primerose.
Any other suggestions?
I have an american bull dog who seems to be getting arthritis in her back legs..I have heard you can give dogs aspirin has any one any advice,she is due at the vet next month for her yearly injections so i will have a word with the vet then.she is 7.
Zeus was hit by a vehicle a couple of years ago. His back right leg was broken in the process. We never expected him to make it, but it healed and slowly he was able to walk, then run on it again. Here recently I have noticed him favoring that leg whenever he stands still, and when he sits or lays down the leg is not resting on the ground. Whenever he runs though he uses the leg. I am very worried. I am not sure if it is arthritis or what.
