I normally have her on 81mg Aspirin. Which doesn’t seem to do a lot.
today I ventured to give her one 400mg White Willow Bark. She seemed to have more energy, and walked faster longer. I fear that may be to high a dose for long term use. Which leads me here.

Thank You For Your Time.

I read that you can give a dog aspirin (not tylenol) for arthiritis?

what else can be given to them for their joints and arthritis? That does not cost a bunch of money?

…if so, baby aspirin or regular?

Dog seems a little stiff in the morning, and after laying or sitting for some time. Is it ok to give her a low dose aspril to help with the discomfort?
She’s 15

our dog is a bassett hound weighs 80 lbs.

Baby asprin or what.
The last time I took my dog to the vet he said to give her benadryl and he is the only vet in town, f#@* you happy2luvk9s that is why I am asking the question
She is 8 1/2 years old

a 7 day diet log

foods that are appropriate for the disease and foods that will help person with pain or other diffuculties that the patient might have

My dog is 11 1/2 yrs. old and I think may have arthritis.
Is there something over the counter that I could give him and how much on weight guidelines.
I’m not sure how much he weighes right now, but probably 80 lbs or more.
Also how often and do I give it with food.
I can’t afford a large vet bill right now.
Thank you for your help.
