my mom is 45 and she has been recieving pain in her right leg. she has been tested for arthritis, and it came back normal, she just got blood taken for lyme disease. im not sure if its lyme disease, because there are more symptoms. if you have any idea what it is, help!

I’m 16.
My mother has Lupus and I know that it can lead onto arthritis and Diabetes as my mother has contracted both due to lupus.
But I’m wondering is it an inherited disease?
As far as I know only my mother has it. I’m not too sure which strain it is.
She didn’t contract her symptoms for lupus until she was 20
So the doctors don’t feel the need to test me yet.
But back to my main question.
Is it inherited?

I have been sick for two moths now and I do not know what is wrong. I have been tested for lyme disease twice but they both came back negative. My symptoms mimic most symptoms of lyme disease. They found spots on my brain, I have trouble sleeping,pain in my muscles and joints, headaches, dizziness, and tingling in my leg and arm. The Dr. has tested me for MS and arthritis. But found nothing!
I am trying to figure out where to go from here.

25, living in Upstate NY so no brown recluses. Past 3 days wake up with rash(seen in pics) goes away next morn, new one forms, joint stiffness like arthritis, muscle pain, flu like symptoms, headaches, have small white bump on bottom of foot, afraid might b a tick head still in there, not sure? have no insurance so need opinions before go to hospital.

I have been diagnosed with PLS. My spinal fluid was examined for Lyme and the results were negative. Upon further research I found that pink eye or an eye discharge (which I have) is a Lyme disease symptom along with arthritis (which I also have in my lower back). My homeopath is vehement that I have Lyme disease (told him he was a quack). My neurologists say no since I don’t exhibit its symptoms other than muscle spasticity and slurred speech. Does anyone out there have any information that might help me.

My son was diagnosed with Arthritis when he was four (he is now 8). It happened after he had a chronic cough for many months and started getting leg pain all the time. An posititve ANA test led led his doctor to refer him to a Rheumatology specialist who diagnosed him with Arthritis at 4 years old. I’ve always been baffled at that diagnosis and other symptoms he’s had. Then last week my mom called me about this article she had read on Lyme’s disease. A lady that had been misdiagnosed with Arthritis. The symptoms she had were just like my sons, joint pain and swelling especially in wrists, knees and ankles, tiredness and lack of energy, difficulty concentrating, memory loss, etc. I was blown away at how similar those symptoms match my son. So I’m really worried now because it’s been like 5 years that he may have been exposed to Lyme’s when we moved from LA to Wisconsin and lived in an old country house that had been vacant and there was mice and rats that would come out at night. I never found a tick on him but I have a strong feeling that he was exposed to it there because right after we moved from that house is when he started getting his chronic cough and leg pain.

I’ve been getting severe stomach pain after I eat anything for about 6-7 months now. I’ve been to the doctor’s and he gave me Prilosec (2 aday) cause he thought it was heartburn. That was 3 months ago and nothing has changed.

I get a sicking feeling in my stomach about 5-15 minutes after I eat, it feels like I’ve been kicked in the stomach. And I get some sharp pains right under my left rib. Also in the same place I get the pains my stomach bulges out, I don’t know how else to explain it. It also makes me throw up quite abit.

I also get headaches alot, light headed, dizziness. I got what looks like a patch of dry skin on my right ankle, which I thought it was just from me sitting on it alot but sense I’ve stopped sitting on it so much it is still there, and sometimes it burns, and feels like it is cracking.

I don’t know if my knees would give any sign, but, I feel like I have arthritis in them sometimes. I’m also 19 years old so I kinda would find it strange to have arthritis so young.

I weighed 140lbz my 1st doctors app. then 2 weeks later I weighed 120lbz, and now I’m up to 125lbz but it never stays. I tryed not to be so active but the more I lay around, the more weight I lose it seems.

I get sharp pains threw my chest and sometimes it feels like I am in a room full of smoke, I figured this is because of my heart murmur, which I have had checked out afew months ago. And everything came back good.

I get constipation alot too.

I’ve been told that Celiac disease does not run the in the family but then I hear from alot of people that it does. I know this was alot to read and I wanna thank everyone for taking their time and giving me some input.

I have uncontrollable muscle movements, bad knees, weak ankles, bad back, bad wrists, fingers that stay curled all the time, heat and cold flashes, chest pains, terrible, terrible side pains, really heavy breathing, stuffy nose all the time, bad allergies. These have all been happening a lot in the past few months. Thanks for the help!

Dad had bipolar disease
Mom’s side has bipolar disease in it
Dad’s dad died from cancer
Dad’s mom died of cancer
Dad died of drug overdose
Mom’s dad died of leukemia
Mom’s mom has had breast cancer once, skin cancer twice, lived through all of it. Has arthritis and diabetes as well
Mom smokes
Dad was an alcoholic

I have a few questions for you that are crucial, and may lead to a cure:

1) Do you or have you ever smoked?
2) what is the severity level of your pain from a scale of 1-10 with 10 being completely immoble
3) do certain foods make you sick?
4) Do you drink?
5) what age did RA start for you
6) where do you feel pain?

If you answer just 1 question that’s good enough for me, if you can answer these questions for someone else that’s good to.
oh and do you take anything with nicotine, such as nicorete gum?

Will The parent pass the disease or the gene to the kid? will the kid most likely going to have the autoimmune diseasewhen the kid gets older? what is the possibility that the kid will get that gene and may be triggered in their life for autoimmune disease or may never happen?
