it would be a reassurance to know it might

my husband was diagnosed with gout since 1992. He gets flares up of the pain and swelling every now & then and he can not move at all.

I know this sounds really stupid but why isn’t there a cure for RA?
Is it because there hasn’t been enough research for it?
is it because there isn’t enought money to do the research?
Is it because everyone else is busy finding a cure for cancer or lupus?

I don’t understand. Please forgive me for my ignorance but I’d like to know why.

I heard of a symtomatic cure for arthritis whereby you soak white raisins in gin and eat so many a day.what is the amount that is suggested

What has helped you? My grandmothers feet ache really bad…:/
EDIT:
Can I give her REGULAR Tylenol? Instead of ‘Tylenol for Arthritis”
Maybe not “cure”, but treat whenever there’s pain?
What’s good for Arthritis?

I’m an atheist (christian for 10+ years) You see my aunt told me a “miracle by god” story how after days and maybe weeks after getting it, one night she woke up due to the pain she couldn’t bear. After praying/begging for the pain to go away, suddenly she was pain-free.

My mom has an arthritis and she says that it hurts but it’s not worse when you look at it. Will therapy cure it? (by cure I mean make her hands be like before?) Is there a surgery for that? any suggestions?
