For the past week, she’s been stumbling, uneasy on her feet and falling. Not all the time, maybe once a day or once every few days. She has also had some bouts of shaking/tremor. Almost as if a current goes through her body, like she’s going to have a seizure, but doesn’t. I doesn’t last long when it happens, maybe a minute or two. This has happened occasionally the past few months. I mentioned this to the vet the last time she was there, thought it was her thyroid but that came back normal. She does have a slightly enlarged heart with pulmonary edema (she’s on a daily diuretic for it). I love her to pieces, she’s my baby. I’ve had her for the past 10 years (adopted her from a shelter).

I made an appointment with the vet for Wednesday. But I’d like some input on anyone who has experienced this with an elderly dog. She’s eating normally, still has her spunky moments. She’s been the first dog I’ve owned. It’s breaking my heart to see her getting older. I’m not sure if this is just a normal process with an elderly dog, arthritis or a sign of something worse. Thank you for any thoughts, I appreciate it.

They appeared as circular rashes that were open inside and all interconnected like a behive. She also had striped rashes that were raised and red as if someone had scratched her. She has been having extreme severe joint pain. To the point at times she cannot move. The doctors said it is Erythema multiforme or a virus. This has been going on for over a week. Is there some other diagnosis for this. Could this be possible juvenile rheumatoid arthritis? She worsens at night and has also been having a low grade fever. The rash also comes and goes.

I’m really hoping I don’t have some bizarre cause of juvenile arthritis, so I’m trying to look at all the angles.

My hands have been aching for days. And around the same time I also started to get lots of hives on my skin. Something is really irritating my skin and I don’t know what. But anyways, could whatever is causing the hives also cause aching and swelling in my hands?
I can’t go to a doctor yet, my parents won’t listen. ;/

I started taking it because my doctor told me I had the symptoms of juvenile arthritis, so he put me on 15mg of it, once daily. But ever since I started taking it, I become EXTREMELY nauseous, as in I want to curl into fetal position, and i am on the verge of vomiting. Which never really happens often. It has relieved all of the pain in my joints and all, all except my back and neck. But I also take Metoprolol 25mg, adderall XR 20mg, and levothyroxine 15mg. Would those have any effect on me taking it? What may cause this nauseousness? Should I tell my doctor?

I am now 20 and was diagnosed with RA about 2 weeks ago. I haven’t had any problems since I was about 4. Now I have severe pain and fatigue. Is it normal to be this exhausted despite getting a full night’s sleep? What can I do to get over this?
