I have an older gelding that has pretty bad arthritis. It has started to bother him more now that he is in a hilly and bigger pasture (he has to move around more to keep up with his buddies) so i am looking to start him on something to help with alleviate some of his discomfort. What would you recommend?

We have an 18 year old barrel horse with arthritis in his right back leg. What is the best thing to give her for this?

So, we just got back from the vet today and she suggested some different supplements. My older dog is having some arthritis issues, so I’m ordering some Flexicose for him. Aside from that, both my dogs get fish oil daily. But, she mentioned that I might look into a multivitamin type thing for them. My only problem is that I really have no idea what kind to buy. Any advice, brand-wise or anything?
I did ask my vet. She didn’t know and didn’t have anything in stock. I’m a new patient, I guess, and I haven’t been to her for an actual appointment until today and I don’t think I’ll be going back…

My female black lab is about 6 months old.I know its not safe to breed them the first time she goes into heat, but when will it be safe. My older male black lab is 7 years old and has bad arthritis. I’m afraid to wait to long, but i also don’t want to put them in any danger at all.

Also we aren’t breeding them to sell them, we simply want their puppies to remember them by when they pass.

Any tips for when she should get pregnant and while she is pregnant would be great. Links are good too.

I have a red nose pitbull who is 20-22 years old, shes definitely got arthritis in her back legs she has a hard time moving and getting up sometimes you can tell she cant take it and she has to sit down you can also tell that they are stiff. Im sure this is uncomfortable for her and plus sometimes she whines a little when she walks. We have had her since a pup and im trying to find an arthritis medicine for dogs that is safe for her. Im sure she is going to go soon but while shes still here id like to do what I can to help her with this discomfort. any suggestions will be greatly appreciated as well as any information on the medicine

My dads ex was a vet tech and she would get her meds but since they split she decided to be mean and not even tell us the name of it. I dont live with my father or the dog I am married so I cant just go take her to the vet while im there and my dad is very busy.

He’s about seven years old now. He used to chase my family and I while we rode four-wheelers and dirt bikes. About two summers ago, he had a series of seizure-like symptoms, but not recently. He also has cuts and “hot spots” all over on his belly. He swims in our pond which is sort of dirty. He feels weak,has trouble getting up or laying down sometimes, etc. So, could this be the beginning of arthritis, hip displacement, or an infection of some sort? And, what would be some possible solutions?

I am a 37 year old mother of 2. I have had fibromyalgia for years. I also have an adrenal gland insufficiency, a severe hormone imbalance, arthritis, and 8 months ago I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. I am having lots of trouble. I am lucky because at this point, I am not having trouble with walking or using my legs. My problems are more cognitive; the plaque on my brain is on my left frontal and parietal lobes. (I think that’s what the MRI said (memory is a HUGE issue). There are many lesions on my brain, some very large. I started copaxone, and the active lesion has stopped being active, which is great. But, I am really struggling, and wondering if anyone knows if there are any new treatments that maybe I haven’t heard about yet. Thank you so much!

i am looking to buy an orthopedic dog bed for my 14 year old Australian Shepard mix dog who has arthritis in his back hips. does anyone have any recommendations on a GOOD orthopedic dog bed that is not super expensive (around $50 or less, preferably)? what are things to look for in one? is the egg crate foam style best or the memory foam style? etc.

I have been tested for Carpal tunnel and all kinds of arthritis. Every few months or if I agrivate it, my left wrist and palm gets swolen and has a purple tint and is extremly painful! It also sometimes gets knots in it. Its a combo of stabbing pains and throbbing and is worse at night. I worked as a cashier for five years and this hand was my scanning hand. The swelling and pain start in my mid arm and go up my wrist on the palm side up into my thumb. Any idea what this could be????? Motrin helps but it still wakes me up at night. It isn’t constant just flareups. What else other than carpal tunnel, and arthritis have these symptoms????
It also has heat in it when it flares up it is not cold.
