It’s usually from half way down his back and down. He hasn’t stopped crying. What should I do? Is there any kind of medicine that I can give him? He is a miniature poodle, bytheway. Does anyone know what it is? The Doctor said a while ago that it’s arthritis and happens whenever the weather changes.

I have suffered from low back and hip pain (different pain in both sides) for several years. The pain and associated symptoms (numbness and pain that radiates down my leg/legs) have continued to grow worse with every passing month. In addition, I suffer from chronic insomnia, sleep bruxism, and frequent headaches. I am afraid that if this continues, I will be unable to work full time. I have already severely limited my lifestyle to exclude all unnecessary physical activities. Simple chores such as cooking and cleaning have become exceedingly difficult to complete.

Diagnostically, I’ve had several x-rays and one MRI of my lower back. These have shown that I have a very minor case of scoliosis and my pelvis is tilted to the right. Additionally, I do have a herniated disk/degenerative disk disease at L4/L5 and bursitis in my right hip. I have also had a variety of lab work, which has ruled out Rheumatory arthritis and Ankylosing Spondylitis (negative HLA B27 blood test).

My doctors are unwilling to offer any further diagnostic tests, and seem to doubt some or all of my symptoms. Can anyone offer any additional possibilities, either diagnosis or tests? I have run out of ideas and am unwilling to accept that all this pain is completely unrelated. My current list of diagnoses contains about ten or fifteen different problems; some related, others are not.

I do not know if I can stress enough the severity of the pain, or the fact that the pain is not located in one place or limited to one type of sensation. Each diagnosis can explain only one part of the problem, but because everything is getting worse more or less together, I think there is some kind of overall problem. Forgive me for rambling, but I am desperate at this point. All conventional treatment has failed (physical therapy, chiropractic care, epidural steroid injections, pain management, etc.) and the only surgery that has been mentioned thus far is the possibility of a spinal fusion in the future, which I have been assured that it is not a guarentee and comes with its own list of permenant disabilities.

Any ideas are appreciated.

I was just wondering if anyone else experienced this sudden onset of symptoms? he will walk and then all of a sudden – bag legs wobble and he is unable to continue – and stops. He does not seem to be in any pain and is eating and everything as normal, aside from this symptom. I will be bringing him to the Vet on monday, but just wondered if anyone had anything like this happen ? I do not believe it to be arthritis as it was SUDDEN, and he is not very old. He’s always been very healthy and was just at the vet for a yearly check up last week, all was normal then too.

My mom is 53 years old and has both scoliosis and arthritis in her back. Her pain is mostly lower and she is opposed to pain medication because she doesn’t want to get addicted and it just isn’t good for you. I’ve found a lot of information on back pain, but nothing specific to what she has. She has a very physical job, so she does get exercise. She’s in good shape-5′10 and 120 pounds. With HUGE man-like muscles lol. We actually share clothes because I’m only 2 inches taller and we both wear a 1 lol. Are there specific things she should be eating? We eat kind of junky fatty diets, to be honest, but I’m the one who cooks so if I make it, she’ll eat it. Thanks for the help-I’m only 18 and I don’t really know much about orthopedics. Oh and surgery isn’t an option. She has to be able to work.

My gastroenterologist seems to think this might be coming from my back pain. This seems crazy to me. Has anyone had anything similar to this?

The situation is such that I am unable to find work. I am unemployed and do not qualify for assistence. I have attempted suicide once. I need help. I am running out of time,

It’s a round bone, and my doctor told me that I have juvenile arthritis in my neck over the summer, and my neck literally kills where I can barely sit still. ):

I’m 15 years old and my back/neck have always been really tight so I would crack them sometimes. Recently, though, it’s been worse and almost every time i try to crack it, it makes a big noise and my mom tells me i’m going to get arthritis if i keep doing it. is she right?

I have arthritis also I really need a companion not to big not too little
I mention the backyard because there are many days when it is hard for me to even walk around the house but when my companion needs to get outside he/she will have a big back yard to run around in
