I have had psoriasis in the past but I have not had a flare up for about 3 years now. 2 Mornings ago, I woke up with a stiff hurting left knee. As the day progressed, it moved to my right knee and then my left elbow. It was much worse after sitting still and then moving. Today it is a little better and it is not as painful but still stiff.

I am competing in a 4-H public speaking division. My title is on Arthritis, osteoarthritis, and degenerative joint disease in horses. I need a catchy title that will capture the judges and the audience. Any ideas?

The budget doesn’t allow for pre-cut “this” and frozen “that.” Therefore, nearly everything coming out of my kitchen is homemade. I have a family, so the kitchen is my domain.

Today I shredded and froze 27 cups of zucchini, pitted 6 pounds (yes, pounds) of cherries, and made homemade chicken noodle soup for dinner. My hands are screaming! They scream every day, as the above is not unusual.

Is there a topical arthritis treatment which is safe to use on my hands yet will not contaminate the food in my kitchen? One that is readily absorbed and will maintain some strength through frequent hand washing?

Many thanks.
I’ll do that (((((Uncle))))).

Does anyone know of home remedies or natural way to lessen the pain of arthritis? Thanks.

I need a knee brace for a pulled muscle and arthritis and I don’t know which knee brace to pick from my options are an Adjustable Hinge Knee Brace, Self-Adjusting Knee Stabilizer, or an Adjustable Knee Support. Thanks to all.
Note: at work I do alot of bending and picking up heavy boxes.

My first chow had arthritis. This was before the days of rymadyl, duramax & other canine medicines. I was able to keep her comfortable with acupuncture, shark cartilage, and other chinese herbs.

Now, my current dog is showing signs of arthritis again. The rymadyl isn’t working as I had hoped. So, I”m going to start her on the regimen that kept my previous dog comfortable. Only problem is I can’t remember the herbs prescribed. I believe alfalfa was one, but I know there were chinese herbs as well.

Anyone able to offer any suggestions until I can find a decent holistic vet?

My mom was recently diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis, and she gets these really bad joint pains to where she is unable to get out of bed at times or even unable to move her fingers. The doctor prescribed her some medications, but none seem to help. Are there any real good home remedies that actually work? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.

I have an older gelding that has pretty bad arthritis. It has started to bother him more now that he is in a hilly and bigger pasture (he has to move around more to keep up with his buddies) so i am looking to start him on something to help with alleviate some of his discomfort. What would you recommend?
