I’m having a hard time with my ankles more than my knees. They don’t bother me unless I’m on my feet too long, then I can hardly stand; and the pain is pretty bad. What are you doing for yourself? I was taking Celebrex, but stopped because it got too expensive; now I’m taking Aleve but I think my body has become immune too it. I can’t afford to go to a doctor and I have no health insurance. Any suggestions?
I was just wondering if anyone has ever heard of an injection for a person called a rooster injecton? it is mostly used for pain relief, whether it’s arthritis, knee, or back pain! I was just wondering if anyone has heard of it and if so what the real name of the injection is and maybe what its made of, but if i know the real name im sure ill be able to find out what its made of and its uses, side effects etc….Please only answer if u have some knowledge of this injection! Thanks for ur help!!!
I have a few questions for you that are crucial, and may lead to a cure:
1) Do you or have you ever smoked?
2) what is the severity level of your pain from a scale of 1-10 with 10 being completely immoble
3) do certain foods make you sick?
4) Do you drink?
5) what age did RA start for you
6) where do you feel pain?
If you answer just 1 question that’s good enough for me, if you can answer these questions for someone else that’s good to.
oh and do you take anything with nicotine, such as nicorete gum?
I am in nursing school and one of my patients takes this for arthritis. Our pharmacology book has a lot of herbal drugs listed in it, but not this one. I know there is some stuff online about it, but I don’t know how much of it is legit.
I’ve been sick for two months now. Fever, headache, body aches and horrible fatigue. Three negative strep tests and a negative mono test. First my doc (internist) thought it was H1N1, then maybe inflammatory arthritis, but I didn’t respond to prednisone. We tried antibiotics, because I developed these spots that looked like bug bites but were really hard. Finally he sent me to a rhematologist, who I saw yesterday, he doesn’t think it’s rheumatological and questioned why I was there. He did “get the ball rolling” with a ton of lab tests (13 tubes) but I decided to play turnip and no one could get blood out of me. Last night I was awake for three hours with joint pains and I am utterly exhausted today. Tears are easily flowing today, which only serve to further sap my energy. Anyone dealt with something like this? What did it turn out to be?
especially while I’m at work. My doc told me to take “Aleve” but it states on the label to take only for 10 days. I also take “Osteo Bi-Flex”–is there anything else that will help-I’m on my feet most of the time. What about the elastic knee supports-any good? Any help would be appreciated….thanks!
My mother got a pain and swelling in her joint at her hand yesterday and went to the clinic in the evening. She has to go back no so they can intervenely (sp?) send antibiotics through one of her arms to the other.
Has anyone had arthritis problems this bad before? I remember most arthritis problems ask to take pills, is this common what my mother is going through?
Dr. J.
