I am 25 years old and was just recently diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis in both knees. I am finding myself to be very depressed because of this. I am constantly in pain and I am finding everyday movements to be a struggle for me… can someone give me some advice to make my life better while living with this horrible disease.

Anyone on here have both osteoarthritis and scoliosis?

How do you cope? What type of pain management do you do? This past week I was in agony. I couldn’t function without medication. Then, I just slept. Thankfully, I could just rest and have my family care for my 13 mo. old daughter all week. My doctor wants me to start physical therapy this week.

Does anyone know whether or not their is a natural solution to medicine- induced gastritis?

Hi there Yahoo community!

Thought to ask… I have been diagnosed with rather painful gastritis in two places in my stomach. It’s painful with or without doctor meds… Also, I got the gastritis because I was taking Prednisone, 5 mg for uveitis over a period of three years or so, not because of my diet… My diet is and has always been, spotless- I am vegetarian, I don’t eat pepper/s, spices, tomatoes, citrus as all of these things cause my uveitis/arthritis to flare. The doctor’s meds don’t work very well although I crazily keep trying them…

At any rate, other posts have mentioned “coconut water”, my arthritis (and in my eyes as well) flares with coconut water (don’t ask why, it just does)… Does anyone know of anything natural I could add to my diet that would help with the gastritis?… I’m afraid I’m going to have this forever and I can’t eat my food the way I used to (and my stomach hurts all day!)… Also, it seems that everything that would flare Candida also affects the gastritis (don’t know why), but they say I probably have Candida as I have the aforementioned arthritis issues. Also, although well meaning and common these days, please don’t post any “specialty health” diets as I have a tendency to go overboard with them, creating a whole new host of health problems entirely…

Not to mention, hemp is the #1 cash crop, and if weed was taxed, the state would see a massive increase in revenue.

I have inflamed hands meaning they are red all the time and puffy and hurt so bad. On my fingers some parts are yellow and some parts of the finger are red.

Is that classic signs if rheumatoid? Even as I type withe 2 pencils its still hurts. any pain 4 relief? HELP ME.
when i walk as well my knees and ankles crack constantly. motrin, tylenol, do NOT work.

My doctor prescribed me Arthritec (sp) for Osteoarthritis. I’ve been taking Diclofenac, but it doesn’t seem to work. I’m a 47 year old woman and my doc says my osteoarthritis is that of a 70 yr old person. It has (and still is) caused me so much pain and mostly neurological problems. I’ve had a few surgeries in various places in the past 11 months alone. Can anyone identify with this disease? Please email me via Y!Answers for more information.
Gosh, these are great answers. to cowboydoc, I’m sorry and I feel your pain. I’ve had a cage put in my C5-C6 & C6-C7 spine along with bones grafted from my hip. There is permanent nerve damage running down from my neck to my left hand and now my hand is partially paralyzed, meaning I have a weak closing reflex – but no opening reflex. The muscles are now gone in that hand and wrist. I have degenerative spine disease and I’m in constant pain. I took 500mg of Neurontin for a long while, but it didn’t phase it. I had carpal tunnel surgery on my right hand a couple of months ago, now they say I need it on my left. I also have scoliosis in my mid to lower spine. To look at me, you’d think I was the healthiest 47 yr old around, but only my docs and my husband know the kid of pain I truly am in. I’ve worked in the criminal justice system for 23 yrs and I’ve been off on sick leave for the last 12 months. If not for hubby, I’d be in a state of severe depression.
