project ideas, please!?!?
Basically I have to investigate the association between an exposure and disease (or public health problem) of my choice.
Some examples of exposure/disease associations are: Cell phone use and brain cancer, Diet high in antioxidants and breast cancer, Alcohol consumption and lupus, Breastfeeding and rheumatoid arthritis, BMI and diabetes
i’m looking for some help with other ideas … please help!
I don’t think you will find a cause and effect link between alcohol and lupus. Did you teacher think up that topic?
The cause of lupus is not known. It is believed to be the result of a genetic predisposition and triggers (certain viruses, stress, toxins) but there is no direct cause and effect relationship that is documented.
I also think breast feeding and rheumatoid arthritis is a really weird topic. They have nothing to do with one another.
