I am soon going to start methotrxate (injections) for psoriatic arthritis but everything I read on the internet says how awful this drug is. Is there anyone out there who takes it and has no horrible side effects?

5 months ago his wrist started 2 hurt then went up 2 his shoulders, he can’t lift his arms up past his shoulders now, he’s in pain at night can’t sleep, i just notice he’s walking real slow, now he says the back of his knees are hurting..he told me his legs almost gave out the other day while shopping..i took him in 2 the doc..did some test..heart is good.. thyroid is good.found some sediments of arthrits..still waiting 4 more test such as tick bites…what ever is going on is progressing..he’s very stubborn..

I live in NY and I have arthritis in my knee and now it is starting in my hands, is there any diet or products that will help with the pain?

His blood work came back positive, he’s getting a second test done but we’re pretty sure he has it. I know what Rheumatoid Arthritis is but I don’t know what really happens to the body other than the splaying of hands. Can somebody shed some light? We’re really nervous.

Why is it not commonly known that Glucosamine sulfate works the best? Is because the pharmaceutical
industry doesn’t want people to know? Glucosamine has also been used for many years by veterinarians to treat arthritis in dogs, horses and other pets.

fever, body ache, limbs are feel stiff.itching,

he does not want to be touched,he’s not eating,or drinking.I have taken him to the vet, they gave him pills.if he’s not eating,i don’t know how to help him.
He is a 10 year old malmute. When i took him to the vet he was still eating and somewhat able to get up.this all changed over night. i’ve placed a heated towel on his back side two hrs ago.he’s still not moving around

I’m 24. Female. I’ve Arthritis, and I feel knee cap pain, Backpain. Can I use Treadmill? What sort of exercises can I do? And how’ll I maintain my daily life? My mom has Arthritis. She went to lots of good specialist Doctors. But there was no improvement. People say that there is not any treatment which will cure Arthritis permanantly.

You are what you eat: healthy food choices, nutrition, and the child with juvenile rheumatoid arthritis. : An article from: Pediatric Nursing

I am trying for a baby with my hubby. the problem is that he has a health problem that stops him from, ahem, moving sometimes. So, If I am ovulating and he is frozen with his psoriatic arthritis, is it possible to use his sperm manually removed for impregnating myself another way. I am choosing my words carefully and blushing. My options are limited. He will go on meds soon so he will be able to mobilise better but the meds make him effectively sterile for the duration of use.
