My dog went from happy frolicking mutt, to head hanging, butt dragging lazy dog in 2 weeks. Vet is no help.?
I changed her food recently, and she did get diagnosed with hip dysplasia, but she was fine 2 weeks ago. He put her on meds for arthritis, which help, but I wonder if she has a back injury. she didnt have her meds one day and she couldnt lift her head, that doesn’t sound like hip poblems to me.

Take the dog back to the vet, describe the symptoms, and ask to have a full physical, including thyroid panel. Did she have a vaccine recently? That can cause lethargy, but probably not for so long. She could be suffering from an infection, or any number of diseases. But something sounds seriously wrong. If your regular vet can’t give you any answers, find another vet.
