Yes, get a doctors note as proof.
Be sure to call your insurance company / health care system to see if they will even cover your costs. I live in Canada, I would be covered for that.
The spa will only help as long as you temperature is elevated (maybe a couple of hours.) If you have true arthritis diagnosed by a physician, you shouldn’t go to a chiropractor. They will only increase wear on your joints through their unproven manipulations. Chiropractors are dangerous, not just a waste of money. Many countries have banned the practice of chiropractic.
