   No, a lot of children with JRA actually go into remission, meaning that their symptoms disappear completely. Children with JRA will only end up in a wheelchair if their condition isn’t managed well or treated soon enough. A pediatric rheumatologist is the best person to treat and manage JRA.

   Rheumatoid Arthritis is a systemic condition, meaning it affects the whole body. It could definitely have something to do with the kidney, but the pediatric rheumatologist will monitor this.
