Is dull leg pain arthritis?
I’m 47, female and at a normal weight and exercise a few times a week. I have no health insurance (working as a temp) to get this looked at and have a dull pain in my quads every day (comes and goes throughout the day – haven’t figured out the trigger. It’s not a sore muscle. I wake up each day and have low back pain and my foot soles are very tender to walk on. Both go away once I am up and moving (about an hour and I forget about it). My hips feel like I have worked out really hard each morning, even if I take time off of working out. I have a dull ache in my quads that doesn’t seem to go away unless I use a heating pad. Elevating does not seem to help.
Gosh, I sound like a mess! I have been dealing with this for the last six months – I am not diabetic, and have always been in good health.
Because I don’t have health insurance and can’t afford to get this checked out – I need to figure out what I can do until I have insurance and can get some help. I’m not overweight. Ibuprofen doesn’t really do too much other than relieve headaches.
Any input would be very appreciated.
thank you!
Might you need a new mattress or perhaps you’re getting cold at night? It sounds like perhaps you are sleeping badly or cold at night and that’s why you wake up aching.
