A natural doctor I just saw recommended calcium with D (nature’s sunshine–6 caps –I am overweight so he may have raised the does??) and yucca..the research I did said it is anti inflammatory and also dissolves calcium deposits..turmeric is anti inflammatory (don’t take prescription anti inflams as my mom took Motrin for arthritis and it caused permanent kidney damage..she is now dying of kidney disease and on dialysis..it is hard to cure arthritic..Dr. Christopher (the father of modern herbology) had it from childhood he said as long as he stayed on a vegan, mucus less diet, he was fine..if he veered off especially by eating meat, it could put him back in a wheelchair..a vegan diet is said to cure it (mucusless diet avoids dairy, rice, gummy grains and wheat (think paste), eggs–can probably find on line or see
    Christopher’s book listed in sources.

There is no cure for rheumatoid arthritis, and certainly none you can find at home. It is a disease that is constantly eating away at your joints – the only way to prevent this is under the guidance of your doctor with prescription medication.

Beyond that, the best thing you can do to relieve your symptoms is help your immune system along with healthy eating and exercises – try warm water exercising, it’s soothing and easy on your joints.

Most supplements have very little evidence and research that they work, but if you do want to experiment with them, work with your doctor.

Remember, there is no cure, only ways to manage the symptoms. The best relief is always going to come from a combination of prescription medications and healthy lifestyle. If you do want more info about supplements, though, you can request a free brochure from http://www.arthritis.org
