i need help i dont know if my dog pulled a muscle or has arthritis?
i hаνе a 4 year οld 9 pound chihuahua thаt tried tο jump οn thе couch, аnd hе missed аnd fell οn hіѕ back legs. Thіѕ wаѕ аbουt 3 weeks ago аnd hе іѕ still limping i dont know іf іtѕ arthritis, οr hе јυѕt pulled a muscle. Mу dad аlѕο ѕаіd thаt thеrе іѕ nο point οf going tο thе vet, bесаυѕе іtѕ mοѕt likey thаt hе јυѕt pulled a muscle, bυt thаt wаѕ 3 weeks ago.
go to the vet if you dont know whats happening take him. or your dogs just going to keep on suffering
Well the vet is the only one who can answer this question. The dog would need meds either way. Glucosamine only works for the beginning stages of arthritis, but it is not likely that he has it that young. Your dad needs to take this poor dog to the vet, if he pulled a muscle he still needs treatment. Walmart sells dog aspirin in the pet section at the very least. He could have a fracture or a broken bone you don’t know about.
