I knit and make bracelets from thread, will i get arthritis?
Im 14 and ive been making scarves and bracelets out of emboridery floss.
I move my hands around and my fingers but im afraid ill get carpal tunnel or arthritis.
If i keep making them, will i get these eventually?
This wouldn’t cause arthritis, which is usually genetic or the result of trauma/injury. You might want to read up on repetitive stress injuries (RSI–carpal tunnel is one) and how to avoid them. Stretching exercises for your hands and fingers can help avoid them. I think it’s unlikely unless you’re doing this for 8 hours a day, every day. Of course if you notice this starts to cause pain, you should take a break.

You may get, tendinitis. I’ve had it from massaging, and from over working my wrist after the cast came off after breaking it. If you just rest your hand and do stretches it will go away.
BTW: I just want to know the meaning behind your username. Cause the band Skillet has a song called, “It’s not me, It’s you” and I am a big Skillet fan (a panhead) so I just wondered if that was your reason why or not.
