check your blood sugar.
You should really see your doctor to have a thorough exam done, as well as blood work done, especially ones that check for inflammatory markers. Since it’s affecting your major joints and is moving into your spine, it very well could be an auto-immune disease/disorder. With both swelling and pain involved, it’s better to be safe than sorry and check in with your doctor as soon as you can.
Rheumatoid Arthritis still possible due to the fact you could be Seronegative like me. Meaning you have a negative blood test result for Rheumatoid Factors and could even have negative CRP/ ESR results these indicate swelling/ inflammation.
Pain and swelling of the joint is Arthralgia (Arthritis), no other condition does this. The pain if it was this alone it could indicate infection, Carpel Tunnel Syndrome. But then again there is 100 different forms of Arthritis from Rheumatoid Arthritis and OsteoArthritis to Gout, Carpel Tunnel Syndrome, Lymes Disease etc etc…
Have you been sick or ill in the 2 months prior to getting the first sympton? If so it could be Reactionary Arthritis if so this will blow out in 8months maximum.
I would also, find out if any person in your family has ever had Arthritis and what form, Psorisis (flakey skin disease),
I was diagnosed with Seronegative Rheumatoid Arthritis based on my symptons and my family history alone.
It is vital to get referred to a Rheumatologist immediate, early diagnosis to Arthritis is key to prevent joint damage thats permanent and to prevent you being effectively crippled and needing joint replacement surgery. So your best move is to find your family history, write down a pain and swelling diary, in this write down the pain level scale 1-10, write down if the joint feels warm at all (inflammed), write down any swelling and tenderness to your joints (swelling), write down any stiffness in the mornings and how long it lasts say 1hour this morning stiffness in ….. joints. your second best bet to go with this is, take pictures on your phone of any swollen joints this will proove to Dr’s and experts that you are swollen and that the main problem I found was Dr’s are never there when you really need them so I kept my swelling in history as a picture to proove it when they couldn’t be. Finally write down the coloration of your joints for example right knee tender and red in appearance.
Do this daily, and get a referral to the experts at Hospital the Rheumatologist. You may still have Rheumatoid Arthritis.
