How does a vet determine how bad arthritis is in a dog?
Dο thеу take x-rays, οr јυѕt watch thе dog walk, οr twist thе joints around tο see hοw well thеу mονе?

they actually feel there front and back legs and move them around and when they hit that spot where it hurts the dog yelps
My dog was 10 years old.She was having trouble walking so I took her to the vet they took X-rays that’s when they saw that she had arthritis. I gave her glueclosemin tablets for dogs it really helped her so much.=)
Well the xray will tell you which stage of arthritis a dog is in, but also tell you other issues going on that you might not be aware of. Arthritis is just the beginning, there could also be spine and hip issues. So the advantage to an xray is to tell what stages a dog is in and other issues. Glucosamine only works for the beginning stages of arthritis.
