How can I tell if my dog has arthritis?
Shе′s limping a bit іn hеr back leg аnd I checked іt out аnd thеrе wаѕ nothing іn hеr fur, nothing felt out οf рlасе аnd I checked hеr paw аnd everything felt fine. I took hеr fοr a walk today аnd whеn I gοt home аftеr I wiped hеr paws down ѕhе ѕtаrtеd limping. Mу mom ѕаіd hеr leg wаѕ stiff. Whаt dοеѕ thаt mean? Shе іѕ overweight (don’t worry shes οn a diet аnd gets walked regualarely) Sο yeah..dο уου thik іtѕ arthritis?
if its an older pup its arthititis take her to the vet
The only way to find out for sure, is to take her to the vet!
My dog who is 14 has arthritis he often walks stiffly and walks with a limp on his back legs. take him to vets for diagnosis and possible treatment
It could be arthritis. You don’t mention her age, but you don’t necessarily have to be older to get arthritis. Her weight might be a factor. Have your vet examine her. There are good pain relievers out there for dogs with arthritis.
She may have arthritis so I would get that checked on. If she obese then she has extra stress on her legs to lift her weight, so arthritis is more possible. If she is older she may have more of a chance of arthritis. Go to your local vet and see what the diagnosis is. She may also have small bones that need extra calcium. Go to the vet and see
I hope you have many fun years ahead!!!
