How can I tell if its Rheumatoid arthritis or Osteoarthritis of the knee?
I have symptoms of both. At first it was only my left knee, then after a couple of weeks that knee felt better and now a couple of months later my right knee is even more painful. Same symptoms. sweeling, fluid in knee i think. So I’m assuming if I have arthritis it’s in both knees. Tomorrow I will call and schedule an appointment for x-rays probably. Anyone have arthritis in the knee? what’s it like for you? what type do you have?
Tight tendons for the muscle for the kneecap, which is right above the knee in the thigh area, will also mimic arthritic pains and have been mistaken for arthritic pains. The big difference is that the tendons can be freed up to get rid of the pain but are difficult to do so they should be done by one trained to do so.
