Traumeel and Zeel are good homeopathic arthritis medicines. They are made by a company called Heel. You can get them at many healthfood stores.
Speaking from a Homeopathic perspective I would highly suggest seeing a Classical Homeopath.
Speaking from a common sense approach I would suggest seeing an orthopedic surgeon and ascertaining whether or not this is really arthritis or just an old injury. A set of images to rule out the obvious is called for here. It would be unlikely that you would have arthritis in one knee at 16yo. But there is hope. Most good Homeopaths can treat someone w/ arthritis.

my sister swears by fish oil tablets, found in vitamin sections of most stores. my uncle swears by rubbing wd40 (mechanic spray lubricant) onto the sore joint. personally, i’d try the fish oil. wd40 smells terrible.
i personally have had JRA and a complication of it known as MAS…it depends on what you are looking for: a creme or a pill. but i found (once i was off presciption) that a high dose of ibuprofen helped me a lot. i never used the cremes. i have been cleared, but i hope that you can stick through it….all we can do is hope. As a physician with a naturopathic bent, I absolutely recommend omega 3 essential fatty acids (which is what is in fish oil) I have patients use the plant source as the fish source is known to be contaminated with mercury. You can get them at any Wal-Mart or Sams club. Just be sure its a plant source.
Modern diets are absolutely deficient in omega 3 EFA s, which makes the ratio of omega 3 EFA s to Omega 6 EFAs way out of proportion. This causes the body to produce more inflammatory mediators than it should and promotes auto-immune disease like JRA. See the below articles as just two of hundreds of studies supporting this idea. Of course one needs to try to reduce or preferably eliminate processed grains and refined sugars in the diet and move to whole grain products.
