Everything gets worse with age. Especially RA. No cure, just pain relievers. Your mobility will decrease, and depending on the location of the RA, that joint will become more and more painful.
It will likely get worse as it is a degenerative disorder with no known cure.
Google your disease and you will find that food alergies can lead to this problem. I would also increase omega-3 fatty acids as they are shown to reduce inflammation. Also increase water intake (as simple as it sounds).
If diet modifications don’t work, there are prescription medically available…but they can be hard on your kidneys. Be informed of ANY RISKS before you start. They may slow the progression but not reverse it.
Good Luck.
My father’s side of the family have RA.
I have seen some very bad and severely deformed joints.
As you get older, It does get worse. At least for my father’s family, it has.
There isn’t much you can do about it other than try to manage with pain meds. There is no cure for it, that I know of
Good Luck!
(I’m presently going through more testing for RA and Lupus, which runs on my mothers side of the family).
I feel your pain…..
