Do you think i might be eligible for social security?
I am a 29 year old male who has severe psoriasis and severe psoriatic arthritis, which is very similar to rheumatoid arthritis. I have arthritis in my right knee, both ankles, back, neck and shoulders. I also received a total knee replacement (TKR) at age 26 (which is very rare for my age) Okay, I know that a lot of people are very lazy and want free money but I am really tired and defeated. I really cannot work. I’m in pain EVERYDAY OF MY SAD PATHETIC LIFE and I am very depressed (almost suicidal, we’ll see). I used to work in food production (factory work) and loved my life, now I live with my mother and I have absolutely nothing. I seriously cry EVERYDAY. Do you think I could get SSI money. Please, please, serious answers only.
Yes You Eligible
if you worked, you may be eligible for SSDI–the number of credits you need depends on your age…
disability is for people that can’t do ANY job….you don’t mention problems with your hands..
i worked with severe pain throughout my body for years…..
are you sure you couldn’t do anything like bank teller, pharmacy tech, customer service at a supermarket? maybe work on computers managing internet connections for the cable company?
the first thing you should do is contact vocational rehab and see if they can find a job you can do and offer you training…if they decide to send you to college….you might get disability until you graduate and have training for a new job
i assume you have not responded to treatment….for arthritis or depression…if you haven’t gone through extensive treatment, you will not get approved
