clicking sound on the knees of my grandma with Osteoarthritis?
i have this problem, my grandma has an Osteoarthritis and whenever she walks~ we could hear a clicking sound coming from her kness. What does that mean, should we let her walk to remove the clicking sound or is it a warning that she shouldn’t walk
Well you don’t have the problem your Gma does and more than likely she has lost most of her meniscus and or cartiledge inside her knees. More than likely she will need some sort of surgury weather its a knee scope or a total knee replacement take her to a Dr. and then let them determain what course of action. Maybe she won’t need surgury but if you can hear it click more than likely she has some signiffcant damage. I tore mine in 2003 and had surgury on it in 2004 and again a couple weeks ago on the same knee. Good luck.
