Juvenile Arthritis Archives
I was diagnosed with JRA when I was 9 and I have never known anyone else with it. It would be to stop feeling like I’m the only person in the world with it.
Have been having pain in my right ankle, knee, elbow, and knuckles (all on my right side and occasionally on the left. at first i thought it was a side off of my OSD but then it went to my arm. i have a family history of this disease, my youngest sister has had it since she was born and she’s 7 now. i’ve read that juvenile arthritis can occur later in the teen years. i am almost 16.
My joints have been hurting for a while now..I’m 13 years old, I’m going to be 14 next month, and Arthritis is in my family. My dad got it when he was in his early 20’s my grandma also had it in her 30’s. My mom also has it. How do I know if I have it?…
I’ve look up joint pain on WebMD and juvenile rheumatoid arthritis(JRA) is a possibility. When i sleep and i wake up my entire body hurts at the joints, maybe it’s because i sleep in the fetus position i dont know. I always sleep closely together with my body crunched up in that position and I’m tired of feeling this pain. I’m only 16 and WebMD says JRA affects people 16 and younger … Please help! my mom thinks I’m older than her lol
I got diagnosed with it when i was 11 and been taking medicine ever since. here recently i have noticed that there has been some liquid on both sides of my middle finger. I love to play video games I play for hours and hours on end. I know its not helping my arthritis. anyways the way i hold the controller. The right side of my middle finger is agaisnt the controller its bothersome.
Like an almost 15 year old girl that has very sever rheumatoid arthritis and has to be laid up in bed for about 40 days during the school year (each year since 6th grade) and has to be in a wheel chair some days. Could a service dog be useful for this person to help them get through the day better/easier? Thanks for your answer in advance!
In one of my classes we are going to make toys for kids with disabilities and I decided to make a toy for a kid who has juvenile rhumatoid arthritis ages 8-12.
If you can give me suggestions on how to make a toy like this I would really appreciate it but otherwise you can give me some toys ideas or what kind of toys they would like
I am 16 years old, female, and I think I may have juvenile arthritis. One of the fingers on my left hand has recently started hurting, like joint pain, and I didn’t hit it on anything. I just woke up a few mornings ago and it’s just sore. I can bend it, and it’s not super painful, it just hurts and is irritating.
It isn’t always like that, the pain varies. Right now it’s just kinda.. there. Is it possible I have juvenile arthritis?
I have juvenile rheumaoid arthritis and I’m 23 years old (i was diagnosed at the age of 2). I have been taking hydrocodne 10/325 for my arthritis pain for the past 8 months and before that I was taking hydrocodone 10/500. I switched to the 10/325 because it has less acethematphin (however you spell it) which is bad for your liver. I just took a pregnancy test and it is positive. I know I need to go to the doctor and I will be doing so ASAP, but i just wanted to see what kind of answers i get as far as taking hydrocodone while pregnant for one because of the pain I will still have and two because of the length of time i have been taking it I feel as though my body is dependent upon it and Im not sure yet how far along in my pregnancy I am. I have had former friends whose doctor prescribed hydrocodone while they were preganant. Please any feedback and/or shared experiences will be appreciated.
