Could I have juvenile arthritis?

I woke up on Thursday morning hardly able to walk because my knees hurt so much. I had had no knee pain beforehand. It kept getting progressively worse, and yesterday they totally gave underneath me. They are worse when I bend my knees, when I walk upstairs and when start walking after I have been sitting. I am 16 years old, and I occasionally get knee pain, but not as bad. Sometimes they “creak”, and my dad has had problems with his knees since he was 13. I also have very weak wrists and get a sore stiff neck regularly.

Do I have juvenile idiopathic arthritis?

I’m 14. The joints that hurt are my elbows wrists fingers knees ankles and toes. My back and neck hurt too. Some joints have hurt longer than others. I also read that some symptoms of jia are rashes. Two years ago I got this full body rash and now when I take a shower my feet and back itch an burn. I also kinda walk abnormally… My feet kinda turn inwards when I walk and I have flat arches. So what do you think?

if you don’t understand it’d be like 1 in 200 kids get cancer. that’s just an example though.

I am a 17 year old guy. I play football (Offensive Line). My dad’s side of the family has a history of Arthritis. My grandma can barely walk, and my dad is in his upper 40′s and he is already struggling to walk at night. My knees hurt really bad after I exercise, and when i wake up (or after resting) i can crack my knees (you will hear a pop). Also when I make a fist (both hands) my joints will pop. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!!

Do people who have Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis have a shorter life expectancy?

Like say if they were diagnosed with it age 9 but probably had it since they were 7 and it effects most of there joints would there life be shorter? And if it is can you tell me why? Thanks for the help in advance!

Since I can remember, I’ve always had stiffness and pain in the joint of my middle finger.. The joint inflames and becomes very painful and then goes down to where I feel almost no stiffness or pain. The joint, even when it isn’t inflamed is significantly larger than the rest of my finger’s joints. I’ve had this pain since before I started school, and now I’m 18. I would love if anyone has ideas to what it may be or if they know for sure that it’s a very mild case of juvenile rheumatoid arthritis.

So, for four years, I’ve been having weird symptoms and they will not go away. I’ve been to countless doctors and been on so many meds I’ve lost track.
It all started with just knee pain, in the joint. I was diagnosed with juvenile arthritis. After trying every single medicine for arthritis, nothing worked. Over the years, my symptoms have gotten worse. Now, I have pain every single day all over my body. I have sores under my tongue and I can barely make it through a week of school because I randomly start feeling like I have the flu, with body aches, chills, and that overall not feeling well feeling. I am so tired I literally cannot get out of bed at least once every two weeks. Im always cold and my toes and fingers get pins and needles out of the blue. I also get thus weird rash behind my legs, and no matter what i try it wont.go away. I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia, a disorder where your brain interprets pressure as pain. All the medicines im on now (lyrics, gabepentin, provigil to help.keep me awake, and amitriptiline) do nothing but make me tired or high strung and unable to concentrate. I’ve never heard of another teen with fibromyalgia, an I was just wondering if anyone has had a similar experience and had any tips or anything? Thank you so much.

Okay, So my mother had Juvenile arthritis when she was younger and it eventually went into remission but I am not afraid I have it. Tell me if these symptoms could be JRA. I have involuntary twitching in my ankle that gets worse in my ankle and today when it started to rain my knees started sching like crazy. Oh, and by the way… I am 15. Thank you! (:
