Baby asprin or what.
The last time I took my dog to the vet he said to give her benadryl and he is the only vet in town, f#@* you happy2luvk9s that is why I am asking the question
She is 8 1/2 years old
Do they take x-rays, or just watch the dog walk, or twist the joints around to see how well they move?
Just curious, thanks. =)
She is absolutely my baby, but weighs nearly 50 pounds. I do know not to force her, especially since she is so confused by the pain of the arthritis. Medication to be prescribed tomorrow ad diagnosis for her strange behavior was just made. Oh yes…she is my furry child!
I am looking for a shorter crib mattress for my dog. He has arthritis, and will be going in for surgery soon. I wanted to find him an inexpensive bed, and thought a crib mattress would be a good idea. However they are quite long. I was looking for something about 1/2 the length. Has anyone heard of anything like this, or know of a good cheap alternative for a firm supporting bed?
Thanks
Matthew
My 15 year old Chihuahua/Beagle mix started limping on her back leg, a couple of days ago. She is very rambunctious and always on the go (you’d never think she was 15). Although she has a slight limp, she still plays a bunch and does stairs fine.
Should I attribute this limp to arthritis, or should I have her checked out?
