my friends mom quit her job and cant drive because she cant move her hands from arthritis. she is 48. is this possible? she takes meds 2. could it be somthing more serious?

Will The parent pass the disease or the gene to the kid? will the kid most likely going to have the autoimmune diseasewhen the kid gets older? what is the possibility that the kid will get that gene and may be triggered in their life for autoimmune disease or may never happen?

I am in nursing school and one of my patients takes this for arthritis. Our pharmacology book has a lot of herbal drugs listed in it, but not this one. I know there is some stuff online about it, but I don’t know how much of it is legit.

Various blood tests were positive, but other than general fatigue and achiness, I have not had any real swelling. Now, my middle finger on my right hand is swollen, stiff, and it hurts. I know RA affects everyone different, but is it common for it to progress one finger/joint at a time?

What happens and how long before it happens

I have a 5 yr old QH gelding, just got xrays and has beginning stages of arthritis in his left hinf hock, but it does not bother him yet in anyway. How many good years of riding does he have? I do eventing on him and he flys over everything. Vet says you can give him shots twice a yr in his joint to help prevent future damege, should I be concerend? Does this make with worthless?

im only 19 years old but have severe arthritis. i havent seen a doctor about it yet but my fingers and wrist hurt when i pick things up or touch them. my neck also has severe pain like 3-4 days a week. and when it rains my knees hurt so bad its hard to walk. ive been taking a supplement to help joint cartilage. but it doesnt seem to work and i was just wondering if doctors can prescribe anything for it.
