Arthritis Symptoms Archives

I took the quiz on www.indigointentions.com, and I answered all 22 as yes. I’ve also been on numerous other websites and I match all the signs and symptoms on there too. I’m prone to nightmares, I’ve always seen myself as very different, I’ve been extremely interested in sprituality and always have been, always been highly interested in water (the ocean is very fulfilling for me to be around, I loved baths as a child, I’ve always loved rain), I’ve been intensely interested and close to animals, nature and plants, just…everything matches. I am very prone to autoimmune diseases (arthritis, eczema), I have extremely sensitive skin, several environmental and food allergies, including gluten and dairy. So what does this mean? I’m very sure I am an Indigo…so what do I do now?
Oh, and I’m also very artistic, creative, and musical. I loved stuffed animals as a child, but all the animals sort of had a soul, or spirit–they were alive and each had their own personalities and quirks and problems. Everyone also tells me I’m very precocious and intelligent….

Crohns or undetected bacteria like giardia ?

Did you know that ‘giardia’ a common bacterial infection, is hard to detect and may require some 4-5 negative tests to prove you don’t have it.

Did you know if the bacteria is not found, it or other parasitic bacteria like it can create symptoms that can label you with IBS, CROHNS, or similar lables, with similar symptoms.

Did you know that similar bacteria can cause different symptoms in different people ?

Did you know that bacterial infections may result in arthritis, MS or Cancer ?

Thank you clotter for the info:

You are correct I am not a doctor, but I am the researcher who discovered anti-truths, how truths that lie, back in 1994. (if you have not heard about them you can blame the media)

Anyway, you are correct, Crohns is an inflamation of the system, but it is more than likely ‘a bacteria’ or ‘parasite’ that causes it.

Why the Crohns and Collitis society does not investigate this, or reveal this…maybe becaue they are looking up the wrong tree, or are not interested, in such a simple cause and cure.

Anyway, I hope you move ‘outside’ the boxes that ‘they’ have created.

IBS, Crohns, MS, and some Cancers are indeed caused by a bacteria…and don’t look at the societies who have a vested interest in not finding the cause and cure…

Sad state of affairs….!

Truth betrayed for a ‘handful of silver’…

I have every symptom???????????

About a year ago i started having red/sore joints. after a few months, a positive rheumatoid factor, and about a billion doctors, i was diagnosed with post-streptoccocal arthritis. since, the joint clicking and locking has increased, but pain decreased. I have also developed sharp chest pains, headaches, bright flashes in vision, sore eyes, violent msucle twiches, numbness in various limbs, really fast heart rate after little exercise, pulsation, extreme lethargy, fatigue, paralysis of limbs upon wakening, drooling, mood swings, psychotic periods, loss of will, lower back pain, violent shaking when muscles are under pressure, loss of appetite followed by sudden binges. ive know also got the strep throat again. also, my blood seems much darkler than usual. These symptoms are very real, and have all been observed by friends/famioly/doctors. I am not a hypochondriact, quite the opposite in fact. I have hadf more tests, and been to more doctors than is sensible, none seem to take me seriously/ say it’ll go aweay. I’ve been told it’ll go away in a couple of weeks, every month for a year. Has anyone had any experience with post strep-arthritis/ or any ideas hats going on.

i have been tested for rheumatoid arthritis, and other autoimmune diseases, and every test any doctor iv been to can think off

The problem started with me waking up with an aching right ankle 3 weeks ago but I’m sure that I did not twisted it. Just ignore the ache as it’s not there all the time and the swelling got worse. Consulted GP 1 week later and was told that it should be a twisted ankle though I told her that my left ankle is starting to ache too. Was given some medication to apply but there was no progress. Later on, the left ankle started to swell and i noticed 3 nodules appearing on my outer left leg near to the ankle. Was very worried as my knees and wrists started to ache and was running a fever. Search online and found that all these symptoms seem to point to rheumatoid arthritis.

Consulted a specialist, did a blood test and results shown that my CRP is 10x more than normal and I’m tested +ve to ANA screen, RA is -ve. Doc prescribed celebrex and the swelling subsided slightly till 3 days ago, rashes and hives started appearing all over my face, neck and chest after taking the medication for ~ 10 days. Was told to stop medication and to do a blood test 2 weeks later to check whether does my CRP reading drops as high reading could be related to the inflammation of the ankles. As I can’t take the anti-inflammation medication, my ankles and my wrists are feeling the ache. Doc said I don’t need to take other medication. Can anyone advise? Thks.

My mom is only 38 years old and for the past year or so her hair has been falling out a lot. She always has had a lot of hair and now her hair is thin and frail. yeah I know when you get older your hair falls out but this is not normal! In the shower like clumps come out. She is always tired and her joints have been hurting for the past month, she thought it was arthritis. I know she needs to get to a doctor but what I named are those some of the symptoms? Thanks for your help.

Would you leave them because of the inconvenience? I was just diagnosed with Lyme disease and I am very afraid my boyfriend will leave me. I have heard this disease can cause many debilitating symptoms and will eventually deteriorate my health to possibly ending up in a wheelchair.

If your spouse or significant other was diagnosed with a debilitating disease (cancer, MS, fibromyalgia, rheumatoid arthritis, etc), how would you react?
We have been together 3 years.

I am a 26 year old female and for the past couple of days I’ve been experiencing headaches and body pain.

I live in Iowa. We’ve been experiencing some strong wind and some heavy showers. So I’m not sure if this pain is weather related or what. Here are my symptoms:

Ear/Jaw Pain – A little over a year ago I had a really bad ear infection in my right ear. For the past couple of weeks I’ve been experiencing ear/jaw pain. Sometimes it throbs. The ear/jaw pain started on the right side then it also started hurting on the left side. Its not constant pain. The pain comes and goes. I’ve noticed though that when I’m outside in the cold and wind sometimes thats when I experience the ear/jaw pain.

Neck Pain – The neck pain didn’t start until yesterday but when I woke up this morning I had a lot of neck pain.

Headache – I woke up this morning with pain in my temples. At first it was throbbing pain (non-stop) but then after I was up for a while then it wasn’t so painful but I’m still experiencing some pain in my temples. I have allergies so could allergies cause this?

All over body pain – For the past week I’ve been experiencing all over body pain off and on. But yesterday I had the all over body pain all day and now today so far I’m experiencing the same thing. Its like an achy feeling.

Tiredness – I’ve been feeling tired for the past week. I sleep well at night (I get at least 8 hrs of sleep) but I wake up in the morning feeling groggy and tired.

What could these symptoms mean? I have allergies and arthritis. Last spring I experienced these issues and my husband was thinking maybe I had fibromyalgia. He wanted me to go see a specialist but I decided not to at that time. So could this type of pain I described could it be fibromyalgia? If it is fibromyalgia should I see a specialist? Is there anything I can take for the pain?
I got my period last friday. I’m just trying to figure out whats going on with my body. So could my period cause this type of pain?

I’m ttc baby #1 but I’m not sure I’d ever know I was pregnant. Firstly I have pcos (polycystic ovary syndrome) and while tests show I do ovulate, I only have periods once every 4 months or so, if at all. Secondly I’m heavier (a size 12/14 pants) with a stomach so I don’t think I’d start to show til pretty far. Thirdly I have several health issues that make me have “pregnancy symptoms” daily. I have rheumatoid arthritis that presents in my spine (called spondylosis) so I have mild/moderate back pressure and pain daily. My cysts from my pcos press on my bladder causing me to pee a lot. I have fibrocystic breast disease linked with the pcos, so my boobs hurt all the time. And I have acid reflux and an ulcer that keeps coming back, plus nausea from the metformin I take for my pcos, so I’m constantly sick to my stomach. And because of my arthritis and fluctuating hormones, and my anemia, I’m tired a lot. Then I get told by my doc that otc urine pregnancy tests are unreliable for those with pcos. WTF? How am I supposed to know I’m pregnant? I can’t afford blood tests every month to check for pregnancy, my insurance only covers one every 6 months.

By the way in case anyone was wondering if I’m able to have a healthy pregnancy because of all my issues, I am on daily medications to manage issues, and my doctor said that while I am at an increased risk of certain pregnancy complications, because I’m only 21 and because I have already lost 30lbs and am trying to eat healthy and take my meds she thinks I’d be ok

I have many symptoms of connective tissue disorders (rheumotoid arthritis, and so on…) & my doctor WAS convinced that I have one! Just yesterday I was diagnosed with Raynauds. I am 17 y/o, and my ANAs and stuff like that were normal. The doctor said these things came up as “abnormal” b/c my blood was “sitting around for too long.”
Are these lab results associated w/ connective tissue disorders?

MCV= HIGH
HCH=HIGH
RDW=LOW
Lymphs (absolute)= LOW
Monocytes (absolute)= HIGH
Occult blood= 1+ ABNORMAL
RBC= 4-10 ABNORMAL
Also, why would i exhibit all these types of symptoms (including Raynauds) and have “normal” blood results!
