Please try to bear with me, it’s a lot of info and also a long shot.
I started feeling sick about 6 months ago. Tired, and achy almost like flu symptoms but no fever or cough. I had a CBC done and everything was pretty normal. Just showed signs for anemia. I was also tested for ra and it was negative.
My doctors thought I just needed Vitimans but with my continued complaints of fatigue and pain in my hands and knees she sent me to a rheumatologist. I listed my symptoms, which had significantly change in the past 6 months. Since December I have lost 70 pounds with no explanation. I wake up at night covered in sweat so bad I have to change the sheets. My body HURTS so bad, in my bones and my muscles ache. I bruise easy and lasting. He listened but did not seem to take me very seriously, although he did do blood work. 3 weeks later, I went back for my results. My rehumatoid factor was positive. My platelet count had gone from 265 (6 months ago) to 134. My WBC was also lower from 9.6 to 6.8. In the 3 weeks between visits, I lost another 9 pounds. He ran more labs, re testing everything he already did and also checking for lupus. My celiac diease panel came back neg. 3 more weeks of waiting while in the meantime he put me on 15 mg of pregestrone for a ween down 12 day cycle. It’s making me nuts. I feel like he is dismissive to me because of my age (I’m 28) and I just feel like he’s missing something. My primary doctor says its out of her hands because he is my specialist and I can’t go elsewhere for insurance reasons. I want to be proactive about my healthcare but I do not kno what could be wrong, and I don’t kno where to turn. Any imput would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much.

Ok so it doesn’t happen any specific time but i’ll be walking or sitting there and all the sudden one or both arms fly up and I have no control over it. And sometimes my neck and head move with them. My arms are moving as if I was holding both palms up to shrug like i’m saying I don’t know or something. Ha.

Also I am a 25 year old male and i’ve thought for a few years i’ve had arthritis because my joints get stiff and achy very easily and it matches all the arthritis symptoms.

I don’t know if the two or related or what and don’t begin to know what this could be. I’m going to see a doctor eventually but I don’t have a job so no I don’t have the money. I mooch off my brother for the time being so i’m just asking if anyone knows what this might be. I already know I need to see a doctor for all of this but just want a heads up possibly on whats going on possibly cause i’m just clueless.

Thanks!
I did put in there that I am not currently employed. Our doctors won’t even look at you without charging money. They flat out admit theres a charge just for walking in the door. Maybe I need to become a doctor so I can get paid to walk through doors. Ughh I just wish I could figure this out. Supposedly we have a free clinic here but I doubt they’d help me with anything thats neurological. That and i’ve yet to find where this clinic is. Maybe in imagination land. Nothings free.

I have a 17 year old mare that has mild arthritis. We are schooling pretty high level dressage right now, and its intense. She’s ridden 6 days a week for about an hour. She moves out beautifully, she’s really at the top of her game right now. So far, the riding is actually suppressing her arthritis symptoms. Its when I just let her sit, especially in the cold, that she gets fairly stiff. She’s on Cosequin right now as well.

So how will I really know when she’s ready? She puts up with a lot of bullshit, she’s waits to the last micro second to show she’s in pain. Should I invest in hock injections? We show very very often, pretty much every weekend in show season. Would this be a good investment?

I’m 23 years old, and I’ve always been a healthy, active person until this summer. I started losing my hair (no hair loss in my fam) so I went to see my dermatologist and he diagnosed it as telogen effluvium and said it will come back. Well, regardless of it being temporary, I’m young so I freaked out and soon enough started developing autoimmune type of symptoms (lupus, specifically). Now I’m having arthritis symptoms! I see my internist and a couple of specialists (neurologist, rheumatologist, dermatologist). and they can’t find anything wrong with me specifically after many blood tests. I had an MRI of the brain/spine and that came back normal with minor arthritis in my neck, and I’ve had a NCV test which showed I may have slight carpel tunnel. I have no pain though! I wake up in the mornings and my fingers feel swollen but they don’t really look swollen (I think). Is this CTS even though I don’t have pain? I get new symptoms all the time like chest pains, back pains, tingling, skin changes (non-raised or itchy rash, easy wrinkling – almost like thinning, etc.). I’ve been super stressed and anxious since my hair started falling out so is there a chance all these symptoms could be brought on my severe stress? That’s what my internist seems to think, but maybe it’s just because they can’t find anything wrong in the tests! My neurologist told me to sleep with wrist splints and see if that helps. I will be seeing an endocrinologist later this month and she’ll do a more thorough test for thyroid and I suppose diabetes, even though I’ve already been tested for all that.

Can someone help me..
I have suffered from depression/anxiety. But, now am wondering if I was diagnosed incorrectly. I am going to see my doctor next week, but I’ve heard that its common for doctors to misdiagnose Fibro.
i wanted to give someone that has fibro a chance to read my symptoms & see if this sounds like them?
First off, when I wake up (every morning) I’m very stiff.. my shoulders mainly and neck (the pain also runs down my arms).. here’s the thing.. I WANT someone to rub my shoulders.. which I wasn’t sure if this was typical of Fibro. I’ll beg my husband to rub them before he goes to work because they hurt so badly. My mom has arthritis.. so IDK if this is more of an arthritis symptom or could it be fibro? The pain radiates down my arms.. but its more of an ache if this makes sense in my back, shoulder area..
I am SO tired all the time, but again this could just be depression.. I’m 30 and feel lke I’m 60. I want to sleep alot..I just dont have any energy.
I was mainly wondering if you have fibro, does a massage help or do you not want to be massaged? When my husband rubs my shoulders, it only helps briefly, then the pain comes back. Also, if the weather is bad (rain, snow, cold any dampness) the pain is really bad.. I can’t even wash my hair at night and go to bed, because of the dampness in my hair making my shoulder/back pain unbearable.
IDK if this is more of an arthritis symptom or fibro?
I’m going to talk w/ my doctor but if some of you say this is like you and you have fibro and he doesn’t give me a diagnosis of fibro, I may get a 2nd opinion. so any help would greatly be appreciated! Thanks

My iron level is currently 7. I have not been feeling well for about six months at least. I have asthma (since birth) and I may have arthritis (showed in my blood that I had inflation). I am 35 years old. I eat enough meat and iron that I should not be this deficient in iron. RIght now dr. has put me on iron pills but there are other things that are bothering me. I have abnormal periods now for the last 6 months, with some months being skipped altogether. I have had bronchitis about 4 times this year and she told me I have it now plus an ear infection which is weird. My ankles have started to swell every night and the antiobiotics have not helped with my cough (very wet). I am usually in quite a bit of pain, ecspecially in the evening hours and so take tylenol ( i think this is due to arthritis). I have been forgetting a lot (prob due to iron def.) and get frequent jaw and ear aches. Dr. has one test on thyroid and for diabetes which came out negative. I have no std<s and my pap test last September was clean. I am overweight and have been slowly putting on weight without any real reason. I do not smoke and I am also quite short breathed lately so dont exersize the way I would like. If you know about medical diagnosis and all of this sounds familiar to you can you please let me know what you think it could be. I have tried to do a symptom checker but it wouldnt let me add in the anemia which is one thing that came back positive.
THanks/…
