had surgery 3 months ago, had level 4 arthritis removed, 2 bone spurs, and decompressed a nerve, now there is bone popping, painful, and muscle spasm debilitating, surgeon won’t consider more surgery (to place a cap on top of shoulder, to young for shoulder replacement) have used pain killers for months and muscle relaxants also, just doesn’t provide relief, anyone got idea for relief?

My border collie is 11 years old with arthritis.. He only has three legs, one of which was broken when he was little and hit by a car and is screwed together..

He has only just been diagnosed with arthritis and is on pain relief, weekly shots and has specialty food which helps with joint pain and arthritis..

When he walks, sometimes you can hear a clicking.. I’ve got him booked into the vets but they’re busy for a week so he doesn’t get in. I’m worried – Does anyone know what this could possibly be?

I’m sure this is a bad combination, but the pain which I suffer this give me relief. I have servere arthritis and carpal tunnel and nerve damage as well as to my arms hands and spinal injuries and unable to wok anymore. Is there a good joint pain relief product that has glucosamine and chondroitin that is NOT derived from shellfish? ( I am allergic to shellfish). I need something that has these ingredients, as well as anything that would ease arthritis pain in addition to rebuilding joint cartilage. I don’t like to take prescription medication, so I would prefer natural joint products.

I just had a cortisone injection today in my hip joint. I am only 25yrs old and have had a serious of hip surgeries. Turns out I could have arthritis already at my age. Has anyone had a cortisone injection in the hip to help with arhritis? Did it work? How long after the injection did it take to get pain relief? And how long did the shot last for? A few weeks? Months? Any help would truly be appreciated!!! Thanks!!!

I have osteoarthritis in the left hip due to hip displaysia. I’m only 37. My dr says that I just need to basically manage the pain and put off hip replacement for as long as possible. I am very active. I work out (limited due to the arthritis), do yoga and am looking for relief other than the celebrex. Has acupuncture worked for anyone? I’m also looking into some supplements.

My father suffers from serious rheumatoid arthritis and has purchased a tanning bed thinking it will help him. He experiences some mild immediate relief, but his condition is worsening and he wondering if the bed is adding to the problem?
