When I was 17, I was told by my doctor that I had a small spot of arthritis in my lower back after getting an x-ray. She said it was nothing serious and six years later she still hasn’t said anything. I plan on making an appointment with my doctor again but I have a question. The left, lower side of my back, there is a small spot where I press and it relieves my back pain for a little bit. I hope that isn’t confusing but sometimes it’s the only way to relieve my back pain for a few seconds. I’ve pressed on this spot so hard that I’ve gotten small bruises from the pressure of my finger and it hurts when I press down on it. PROBABLY makes no sense but I was just curious if anyone out there had any idea what it may be before I went to my doctor. For as long as I can remember I’ve had back pain, even when I was younger. I’ve always had an issue with laying down and relaxing without my back having spasms.

This is all over the place but thanks for your time if you’ve read it and understood it!

So I’ve been having pain my wrist area since July or so, and it is now the end of December.

Basically the pain is centered in my entire wrist(Like, the joint that attached hand to arm) and sometimes if you push your fingers into the skin line kinda between my thumb and pointer, you get some pain. If I push something (Such as shoveling out something — and pushing the shovel forward with my hands) it lets off a sharp pain, sometimes just randomly it will kinda ache, other times if I grab something the wrong way or lift something heavy and move my wrist from the straight position(Or position I had my hand in while lifting that thing) it tends to ache as well.

I HAVE SEEN MY DOCTOR! I have gone to my doctor twice, and the hospital once. – First time at Docs I was given 2 weeks of anti-inflammatories, by the end of them, my wrist was better, but not totally. I then a few weeks later(as being in a small town you have to make app. and such) visited the hospital, spent 4 hours sitting there all for the doc to come in and look at my wrist(didn’t even touch it) as two questions and suggest I book an MRI in the big city and get some aleave and a wrist brace(which I already have). Thanks, lots of help right? Then I visited the doc, again, for the second time and he gave me 3 weeks of anti-inflammatories. By the end of that, my wrist was good as new, brace came off and I was able to carry on with daily farm life chores. I still took it easy though. About a week later with no signs of pain at all, we bought a milk cow, and for the meantime are milking by hand while our milker is on order(and delayed due to holiday). After the first milking, I woke up to sore hands, as expected as that was my first milking, but ever since then my wrist has also hurt the same way it did before I took the pills from the doc.

I was researching it, and it sounds as though possibly arthritis? But, who knows. I am booked for an mri at some point(haven’t gotten date yet from doc) so hopefuly that will help. My hand is so weak due to having all summer off that even carrying a a blender with 1 litre of water in it makes my hand wobble, and I end up switching to the other hand.
I type alot as I am homeschooled online, but do not think it is carpal tunnel. Doc figured it was tendonitis, at first at least.

Anyone have ideas on what this could be?
I have never had an injury on that hand, and I do not think I have hurt it in some way before the pain. It just kinda happened. I used to remember now and then I’d grab a jar and it would kinda feel weird – as if I had sprang my thumb/hand, but eventually after a few days went away, now it is no longer a sprain feeling, just an ache, and more in the wrist.

2 weeks in a hard cast
6 weeks in a walking boot. (Full weight baring after 2 weeks)
And I have 6 weeks in this ankle brace I got today.

I’m still having pain when I walk from time to time. Especially when I do physical therapy and around the scar of my break. Today my doctor said I was starting to develop arthritis. I just wanted to know is the pain just regular pain from me healing from my open fracture or the arthritis pain kicking in.

I know people who take diazepam for anxiety take like 40 mg a day so I know my pain didn’t go away because I was calmed down. So I was wondering because diazepam is a muscle relaxant did that have anything to do with it?
